Copenhagen. Plus I'll be in the air whilst the match is on, so will have to wait until landing to find out the result.
I would believe that if I truly believed we are creating loads of high quality chances. But I don't. We get a few crosses in and some of them are met by a striker, and when he does we call it a sitter. I think that's fanciful. There was an Ömür chance at Oxford where he had the ball on the floor facing goal about 8 yards out and could pick his spot - that was a sitter. Pedro getting a split second to connect with a waist height cross isn't a sitter, nor is the second one where it flashed across a defender and the keeper was almost on top of him. Brilliant ball but not a sitter really. We need to be realistic that we are not attacking with much quality at all and we need to create much more.
You keep banging on about 'Walter fanboys' and 'cult Walter', when pretty much everyone on here thinks he should be sacked, are you hearing those voices in your head again?
We’re creating a couple of chances in a half, not nearly enough to say plenty, by any stretch of the imagination.
Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 to win tonight, seems like incredibly big odds. How much worse can they be than us?
If Wednesday beat us tonight they'll have twice as many wins as us at the MKM Stadium this season.....now that's depressing!
"You're getting sacked at 6.15, sacked at 6.15, you're getting sacked at 6.15-een". Or probably not. Looking forward to what he's got to say at least.
Pleased to see he will be attending the game this evening, looking forward to watching the exciting football he has promised.
The thing is we are desperate for the points, the manager, owner players etc will go at some point but we are here supporting for a lifetime. I don’t think at the moment many of us fancy us beating anyone in this league but we have to win now and again just to keep in touch. Games like tonight are massive and like I’ve said before every point gained up to the transfer window are so important . We live in hope, back the lads, I think all of us are sick of hearing the away fans singing to another victory.
Non-stop sitters, no. Creating more of them than the opposition in most of our recent games, yes. As for smashing teams, we did it three times in a row earlier in the season, so the ability to do it is definitely there somewhere. As for fanboys, I don't think there are any on this forum. Things are too dire at the minute to realistically say otherwise. With that said, a lot of these games have been down to fine margins, mistakes and moments of naivety. How long we give the manager to try and sort that out is obviously up for debate. Constantly inferring that everything is the manager's fault in our current situation just comes across as needless to me.
