Yes, before you say it I'm aware we're top of the League but our perforamences lately have not been good enough, home and away - im not sure we're going to continue as we have been and thats not me being a saddo, thats me thinking ahead considering how we're playing in short, we need to improve to stay top
Did we not say that we would have a blip somewhere in the season? This is our blip. We made a mistake in the second half with the formation change. It is up to all of us to pick the team up and get back to business; it's a tough league.
I think we're being far too complacent against the lower sides and the players need to play with some balls.

agree performances need to improve to stay top. we have still been as consistent as anyone else in this league. you cant win them all and its shows how far we have come to start expecting wins. im sure west ham/leicester etc fans are just as pissed of with performances
Yes, our recent away form is not good enough but, IMO, you can't underestimate just how much we missed Rickie today, he is our focal point in attack and we have to learn quickly how to play without him. I think this result prooves how much we need to buy another quality striker in the transfer window. Look on the bright side though, West Ham blew it at HOME to Burnley today, and only Leeds gained ground on us.
Let's be honest Donny have improved massively with all of their additions and it is hard to get lots of away wins in this league. We must ensure we win our home games and pick up some points away. It is insensible to get too despondent about the loss. I think that Adkins panicked that we had not scored at half time and made too many tactical changes, however we have been spoiled so far this year. I suspect Barnard was not fit enough to play the whole game.
How weren't we? Our midfield was awful, we were over-run all game in the middle of the park. And they were all over us last 10 mins with 10 men
Is it a surprise that these poor performances have coincided with the loss of Connolly, Chaplow and now Lambert? I don't think so.
Well, I was listening on Solent today and agree that on this occasion, NA panicked a little at half-time - sounds like he shouldn't have changed it. I get the impression Barnard's not fit enough to start at the mo so options are limited Some people need to calm down a little and recognise that we just don't have the squad depth at this time. We've lost Connolly, Chaplow and now Lambert in recent weeks, all good in-form attacking players and their replacements havn't really cut the mustard. This is more noticable away from home when the pressure and atmosphere is against us Agree a very disappointing result today and food for thought for Adkins, we certainly need more attacking options than we have at the mo. Surprised the Hammers lost today but they're not the danger IMO as they will eventually overhaul us with their premiership squad. I would keep an eye on Cardiff tomorrow as 3rd place is what we need to watch. Somehow we're still top...remember this is a tough division, everybody wants to beat the top dog This game's gone now so let's get back to basics and go ONWARDS AND UPWARDS
Recent poor form and results have shown how much we do need to strengthen in January. If de Ridder is not good enough at the moment then we need a winger. But most important as everyone knows is a striker. Barnard is unlikely to be match fit and all guns fireing for some time having been out for so long. I suspect that Connolly will be out for months as its the same injury thats kept him out of action for so long in the past. Lambert is now injured and if its for any length of time then we will really now see how important he is to how we play. Guly has been decent upfront but he is not an out and out striker. Forte will be off the bus soon surely? We only had a half fit striker available today and yet he was not recalled! Chappers has been a revelation this season, i thought he would be struggling to get in the team but it turns out the team is struggling without his work-rate and running. I just hope that Adkins does not play Morgan, Cork and Hammond again! It clearly doesnt work. It didnt work at Bristol City. It didnt work at Hull and it didnt work at Doncaster. I would rather have seen Fox on the wing and Harding at LB, Lallana on the other wing and de Ridder up front with Guly (so he doesnt have to defend). Sorry to moan. But sometimes you just need to vent frustrations. The season as a whole has been unbelievable but recent formations and resultant form and results needs to be addressed now. We cannot rely on getting a winning every home game all season, its just not going to happen. Vent over. You can slate me for being negative if you want I now look forward to the next game and have every faith that we will be back to our best (fingers crossed)
