Probably a lot less than we're about to see in the coming weeks. In fact I suspect the crowds would have stayed quite high, as they did all of last season.
The crowds are already dropping. The reported attendances are including members whether they’re rocking up or not
I know four pass holders near us that didn't turn up for the last match, door wide open. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Being in south London, Luton was usually a must see match but I didnt have the enthusiasm to travel on Saturday. I guessed it would be another disappointing day.
The endlessly repetitive whataboutery on some of these threads is truly depressing. It doesn't make a blind bit of difference what Rosenoir, Bruce, Taylor, DeSilva or Terry Bloody Dolan would have achieved with this squad. Or what any of them could have done with last seasons squad. For that matter what is the point of arguing over whether last seasons **** home form is better or worse than this seasons **** home form.
All of them played for us in the Championship and many were instrumental in getting us to the PL for the first time. Leaders and strong personalities, you might even say with a blue-collar approach to the job.
Disappointing result, an away day as a whole is seldom disappointing. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Performances haven’t been amazing but I think if we’d been more clinical, we’d be within 3 points of the play-offs. I know it’s cliche and all relegation teams feel like they’re hard done by but if you actually take our games after Norwich, the system has become far less of an issue and Individual errors and a constant lack of being able to put away really big chances has cost us in almost every game.
Home and away. Don't know what I'd do all year without it, win lose or draw, whichever league. I'll be in Hull next year hopefully, meaning I can get to most games and I can't wait
A couple of friends of mine went but they live in North London. We usually meet up. If I had met them it would have been a long day with the match result hanging over us. I knew what was going to happen.
At least I went to our 3-1 win at QPR this season. We've got Belloumi and Millar on the wing!..... oh, wait.....
Any bad result we have hangs over me for a matter of seconds. I'll enjoy tomorrow night, whatever the 90 minutes 'football' serves up. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Imagine if Man Utd had sacked Fergie aftyer this amount of games eh? I really hope Acun is giving him time and will ensure a striker is signed ready to play 1st Jan. He created this mess by not getting him the tools to do the job.
I honestly find it perplexing that there seems to be somewhat of a minority that actually see this like we do. I agree with you. There's definitely things TW should be looking to change and improve but for creating chances to score, we're making enough happen already to warrant scoring more goals, like you say, in pretty much every game after we played Norwich. We need the collective squad to stop dropping bollocks in critical moments. It's composure we're missing.
100% agree, and I go back to the fact we failed to sign a top striker at this level, our two most promising attackers are out for the season and the midfielder who looked most comfortable getting us on the ball has been banned for however long. People moan about shots on target too, but Luton game being prime example, our 3 best chances, all sitters, are all off target. That’s not on the manager, neither is Simmons missing a sitter at Burnley, him scuffing a clearance a minute into the second half against Portsmouth, Omur not burying his 1-1 vs Oxford or Slater not heading the ball down 3 yards out against West Brom. There’s many more examples too!
