All lives are important but you are bound to get more coverage when someone is well known and well liked, especially when it was suicide rather than an accident. The people left behind will always wonder why they didn't see it or wonder if they could have prevented it. Didn't know Leihberr, but he touched my life. I do agree however that this has been a bit excessive. The best memorial for Gary Speed would be if his action results in others seeking help, which I gather it has.
Not all live's are important, some people never deserve to live. Others deserve to live longer, the whole that's blow up every celeb, football player or any person in the public eye death is sad. What have they really done for you? apart from get a crap load of money. When Markus died I didn't mourn him I respected him for saving our club that is all. I bet if jordan died today there would be mass mourning and hundreds would attend her funeral. It just shows how sad alot of people are, they all need to get a grip.
Meh, we're better off without Bin Laden, Gaddafi, Jade Goody, etc. ====================== The tyrants!
Exactly! Suicide is a cowards way out BUT BUT, you need to be brave to do it. I don't know what was going on in Gary Speed's head, but I feel for his family, my view is that he was a coward to do it, but also brave to carry it out! (now that is a contradiction!) Also, it is sad to the football world, but as my other half always says "why are you upset? You didn't know them - would they be upset if you died?" However, I say this here, but would not tweet it - especially if I was in the public eye.....
A 1month old baby was admitted to hospital with a broken arm, collar bone and leg. All it's ribs broken and many more injuries. Plus he was SEXAULLY ASSAULTED. Two ppl have been arrested, are you telling me they deserve to live??. Plus you get the *****s, mass killers etc etc they all deserve to die. So no not everyones life is important.
