Oh and another thing from today. The atmosphere on the whole was utter dogshit considering we were always in the match against the best team in the league. The amount of people who've bought tickets in the Northam to literally never contribute is ridiculous.
Im sorry 4 points from 12 games. The clubs lucky we are still turning up, **** them we owe them nothing. We should be giving the players and RM all the **** in the World at this point. They deserve no credit for today at all and they don’t deserve an atmosphere other than a toxic one.
And the shirt pull on Fernandes in the box- but obvs shirt pulling doesn’t counting it’s red and white
Okay guys I have a serious question considering Leicester city have just sacked Cooper, do you think our board will ever sack RM? We could quite realistically not pick another point up until Christmas by which time we will be well and truly cut adrift. I know we're just going to hear the same old tired lines about bravery and luck and moving in the right direction bla bla bla about today's game but the result was still the same, a big fat 0 points ( something I fear is going to continue well into the season, perhaps all of it, as we can't/won't change from our suicide football ) Football is a results based business but our board do seem to be "happy" with RM so my thoughts are that we have him until the rest of the season and even if we are looking likely to beat Derby's points total they (the board) aren't going to sack by him?
Sorry but I disagree. In the context of today at least. We take the lead against the best team in the league giving us something to cheer and the Northam was rocking for about ten minutes. They then equalise which is when the team need support the most during the match. And what did they get? Silence. After the penalty for 3-2 then I can begrudgingly a accept it to a degree but at 2-2 in the most important part of the match to get ZERO support is pathetic as far as I'm concerned.
On holiday and enjoyed a full session in the pool/steam and sauna rooms!! Then read this post. The other positive is that we won’t have to worry about a new manager because he’s going nowhere (literally!) until at least 2 months before the end of the season, yes I know, really stupid but frankly it’s been a stupid season to date.
I'm sorry but what do the players expect if they keep losing games? And by making the same mistakes (that's mainly on the manager)? It gets ****ing tedious gifting the other team goals.
To summarise my thoughts which are clearly not mainstream … Macca is a liability with the ball, Russ clearly told him he was allowed to kick it at HT as he immediately did that more 2nd half, although he never got it near a Saints player Their 1st goal: Macca rolled the ball to Mateus when he was surrounded, at least he got it to Flynn, but he than set them up with an appalling clearance Their 2nd goal: WTF was Macca doing Their 3rd goal: Dodgy hand ball Law Our pen: Pen or Free kick? Ref gave pen, VAR couldn’t clearly say it was a mistake so PEN The Armstrong pen appeal: Defender had hold of his shirt, pen. I thought the keeper also took him out as well Tall Paul’s best game for us and he goes and gets injured. How ****ing lucky are we! Liverpool were wasting time at the end to hold onto their narrow lead Predictions of a 0-X (insert big number here) were way off the mark Predicted to be a horror show but we have the runaway league leaders a game Conclusion: It’s all Russell’s fault … … Apparently
0 points, they are losers nothing more. If we had built up credit in the previous games it would be different. But we always turn up for a narrow loss against the top sides, it means nothing unless we pick something up. And I think the performance flattered to deceive, three goals conceded from errors is awful.
Obviously certain individuals will get blamed for the errors, but if you play that deep and negatively, then mistakes will happen, no matter what. McCarthy was having a stormer in goal, but the amount of f*cking wet-rizla defending going on in front of him, it was inevitable he would make a 'mistake'.
Wasn't there and I agree with your sentiment. I think as fans we are weary at the moment, not expecting to hold on to any lead or get anything much out of games, always expecting errors and tbf, not that many direct scoring opportunities to get too excited about. If we played more direct, creating some excitement, I am sure the atmosphere would improve. Not saying this is right as the team need us at the moment but can get why it is like that. We want to believe and need that injection of confidence that the team needs to give us
Of course it is. At least partly. They are making mistakes playing the way he wants to play. Until the manager gets more pragmatic we'll keep conceding stupid goals.
Did the likes of Fernandes and Dibling not deserve any support then? I find that a strange argument to be honest. I get we've been **** all season. And I want Martin gone as much as anybody. But at 2-2 against the best team in the league with 25 minutes on the clock that doesn't justify not giving the team ANY support or encouragement whatsoever. Who knows, it could have had an impact.
I'm refusing to blame any players for mistakes which arise from ****ing around with it in our box. It's on the manager as they're doing what they tell him to.
Go support Everton please with your entitled attitude. The players deserve support. They are playing well every game but being handicapped by a clueless c*nt of a manager. Our fans are f*cking appalling at the moment.
