Luton 'fighting' for Edwards - Reaction Luton Town boss Rob Edwards told BBC Three Counties Radio: "It wasn't perfect - it didn't have to be - but it was important to show a reaction, show some resilience, some spirit, a bit of quality when we needed it. "They are a really difficult team to play against. They are probably the most complex team in the way they play to press. It was difficult, it was challenging. "If you think back a couple of years ago, when we got promoted, we had quite a few of those kinds of performances. People putting their bodies on the line. You have to do that to win football matches, it is not always going to be pretty. "What is pleasing is that the lads are there fighting, with me and with us, and that is good because it has been quite a challenging couple of weeks, or a challenging quite a long period. But yeah, a nice feeling today." Hull City boss Tim Walter told BBC Radio Humberside: "Like every week - like the last seven weeks as well - we played well. We created a lot of chances. "We also defended really good. But, set-pieces...they scored and the whole game they didn't have a chance to score without this. "The boys showed again character, because if you run backwards in the 96th minute, that shows that the team is really sticking together and they are fighting for each other and they have a good togetherness. I can see it every day in the training sessions. "We have to score to get better results, but sometimes it is like it is."
Delusional. Arrogant. Not you TigerKare obvs! Pursuing with his philosophy of play, would rather lose than change. Didn’t go over to thank the travelling fans at end as he was wet & went straight inside The travelling support didn’t have that luxury, just a long arduous car journey back, shame on Tim. Ultimate respect to our awesome away support, they deserve better. Ever the optimist, hoping for a better performance & result Tues eve…..as we long suffering City supporters know, it’s the hope that gets us. UTT
“We played well, just like the last seven games.” Which brings me to my next point, don’t smoke crack.
Well said Tigress. He is an arrogant prick who has no regard for us supporters he has to go this week it’s getting very toxic now.
We can’t score and we can’t keep a clean sheet. 3 points from our last 8 games. I don’t know how Acun can back Walter at this point.
He seems to be convinced that we played long ball football until he came here, and that he's the one first introducing possession football to these players. Either that or he's pretending to believe that. Either way is very strange.
After the final whistle there was a tight camera shot of Tim Walter clapping as he was walked purposefully. I said to the lad; “At least he’s going over to thank the travelling fan – he should have done that weeks ago” Then the camera panned out and he could be seen scuttling towards the tunnel applauding himself
There have been a lot of opposing managers saying that we are hard to play against and we have a very complex way of playing. What thy edit out is 'thank **** their players dont get it'
I think thats the key word GE. It's TOXIC. More I'd say that as things stand the problem is systemic thorough the whole club.
Dear Tim 64% possession 13 shots 2 on target For this team to score we need more shots preferably on target sort it or **** off Yours very much frustrated highpeak tiger
