It's not costing us at all - we don't have a god given right to win games, then say it's the manager's fault when we don't.
Don't pretend that Aouchiche or Ba are options you would be happy with in any other scenario.
Trying to remember the last positive post you put on here....

But if the subs can't be trusted to do the job required then they are subs for subs sake.

Yes we could have out Ba on right wing, but unfortunately he doesn't have the discipline to track up and down, we could have out AA on but he hasn't shown anything to say he would fight in the midfield, he's a 10 and doesn't like the defensive side.

That was a proper bare bones bench and as disappointing it was to conceded the equaliser, we need to see the bigger picture and it's another point

Let’s not forget the amount of injured and suspended players here.

    A draw is marvellous !

If we'd conceded early and equalised in the 93rd min, people would be hailing it as a brilliant point

He clearly doesn't rate AA or Ba. Wouldn't be on bench if he wasn't desperate. Don't blame him for sticking with players and not bringing them on. We were a minute from winning what would have a brilliant victory considering who was missing. It was a poor, poor second half but we defended well again. Mepham and ballard are outstanding. We've always a chance with them/09 in side

Maybe it will, we need to use the bench more as it'll catch up to us - potentially already is.

We are top of the table but I always try and look at performances to get a judge on where we are at the minute. Our performances have dropped since the Oxford game - the good thing is we haven't lost but we also haven't won.

The championship is possibly the toughest league in the world and you have to use the squad - we aren't at the minute and that's a big worry for me

Plenty mate. Let you read back. They are more than suitable to be used as squad players. Unless your saying the club has dished out long contracts for players that can not make the squad or be used ?

I agree with you there, but I also think today was not a day for using lots of subs. Why would RLB turn to players who cannot play in his system? He'd have been crucified on here if he'd brough Ba on and we conceded a winner when he gets caught in possession (which lets' face it, happens every time he's in possession)

I'm saying the Head Coach does not want those players at the club so why would he suddenly use them as viable options off the bench?
Guarantee you'd be first in line criticising if Aouchiche turned in a performance like he did v Ipswich last year and cost us 3 points.

    Spot on.

I am sure some of the posters saying AA and Ba shouldn't be used actually praised them to the hilt last year at times.

We keep dropping deep and losing the ball because they are knackered. Mayenda and Rigg were very very good then they hit the wall and had nothing left. Performance went through the floor and both made very poor decisions and turned over the ball multiple times.

We have to use the squad more and not just outcast players who have done ok previously and have decent contracts.

This. The individual points against QPR, Preston, Coventry and Millwall are all fine in isolation, but the bigger picture is the performances in all four have not been good enough.

We're top, it's hard to complain too much but I think I have genuine concerns over how sustainable our league position is.

It's been an issue all season tho, not just today - we use by far the least amount of subs in the league

Ba brings energy to a team, something we totally lacked in the 2nd half, Adil can get on the ball and hold onto it and draw fouls - something we needed in the 2nd half. Even getting Johnson on for his defensive ability and switching to a back 5 would have been fine with me. Would it of made a difference, who knows

But the longer we go without using our bench the more it'll impact us imo

Seems short sighted to me mate. I know both would have brought some additional press and engery in last 20. Have to cosider Tuesdays game too. Short turnaround.

Hahaha love that so me and one or 2 others jinxed this game because we weren't worried about a ****house side?

Who do you think are the lucky ones here? Is it us for HANGING ON or them for the last kick of the game point?

We completely outplayed them first half and had we kept the same mentality would have seen the game out comfortably.
But we had a few new lads in and different positions for some and we got a bit to scared imo.

Now most of the same people that had us down for a defeat or draw at best will piss and moan that we never won. We've some ****ed up fans.

Thought Mayenda and Watson looked good first half, just wish we would dictate possession a bit more . All seemed a bit panicky second half

I was mega worried before ko with the forced changes. Credit to every single one of them, fantastic first half and should have wrapped it up unfortunately ended in a late equaliser to which I'd have a draw before ko. Well done lads onto Tuesday HWTL

Going to get lost in the debate over the result but thought Mayenda was excellent today. Was our only real threat for most of the game and his speed is unbelievable in wide areas. Would be tempted to keep him in the team over Roberts for a while.
