It would have been a good match to take my son to, but under the current circumstances I don’t want to give SR money and don’t want a drab depressing afternoon in the cold. Having said that, we’ll smash em! COYR.
Is there anything more British than going from frozen testicles temperatures on a Wednesday to borderline shorts temperatures on a Sunday?
Wondering what the weather will do each day has been far more fun than Russell’s smug face and mental tactics. Maybe we should have a weather channel. Tom loves a Poll, let the members decide.
I am probably sitting this one out. Not sure I am brave enough to go on a Sunday to see other braver men on a football pitch, have the ball for 70% of the time and then lose 5-0
This is usually the game I have to get to. Despite the gulf in quality in the last few years it has always been the fixture that would get the heart pumping. So many memories to live off and share with friends and family who are Reds. Favourite is the Shane Long in the season when we played the buggers four times and they failed to score. So sad to say I can’t be arsed to travel the 450 mile round trip. Instead I’ll be watching in the company of Red fans who can’t get a ticket in a favourite watering hole. And for the first time since LFC came to The Dell in 1966/67 I’ll not be disappointed with a loss. I’ve told my Red friends that our back four or five or whatever RM puts out are dressing in Santa outfits and preparing gifts for their visitors. What does disappoint is that this is the first time in all those years that I can’t see any hope at all and I’ve gone past caring. So there you go. 4-1 Saints it’ll be
Did you really sell it, or did you slip someone £50 to take it off you? If the former keep his or her name secret, poor sod.
Club will love the fact people have sold tickets back to them via the exchange. Makes them a load more money.
It's currently snowing in Southampton! Not settling mind you. Going to be about 14 degrees warmer than this on Sunday (but also rainy and really windy too) so you win some you lose some.
Was proper blizzard like an hour ago on the school run. My nipper asked if we'd moved up north overnight
Not a day for going to sea in a small boat. Stay safe all! Similar temperature for us but half the wind. We may well head to O'Casey's in the Hague for the game award winning sports pub deservedly so, well worth a visit if you're in town.
Mad conditions might be our only hope. Or at least they would be if we had a direct way of playing in our repertoire.
