Looked at the stats for that England game. Seemed to have a massive number of ahots, yet I literally can’t remember them!! Other than the goals, I thought we were terrible in the attacking third. Did bet365 count every forward pass as a shot or something?
Same here. I’m still pissed off how poor we were going forward in the first half. I was waiting for England to be ahead at HT for a decent win
Weird isn’t it. 365 said 17 shots at 88 minutes. I thought “I’ve watched the game and I’m sure we’ve had 5 and they all went in” Didn’t deserve to win by that margin at any stretch. Think we’d have been lucky to win at all without the red
Based on what? I’m not sure he gets in ahead of O’Nien and Mepham who’ve both been excellent this season. He could play against Millwall due to Hume being out and O’Nien shifting position but he doesn’t merit a place in this side at all, at the moment.
I really like Mepham and O9 as a combo, they are our best combo until Ballard or Alese dislodge them This weekend is huge for Ballard, he's got an opportunity to prove he should be starting - up to him to take it. Our CB options are class this season, I rate all 4 of our CBs plus still got Seelt to come back who showed glimpses last season of his ability There were a few posters on here, who I respect, who did not see O9 as a championship CB and even they've admitted he should be starting each week now
Based on the fact he's one of the best defenders in the league. I agree dropping Mepham or Onien would be unfair, however im still looking forward to see him back in the team though.
Hope he smashes it this weekend as I'm a big fan of Ballard If Mundle is out for a while a back 3 might suit us more, I know some hate a back 3 but if it's used well it is a really good formation
I like Ballard but I don’t think he’s been great so far this season. It’s a massive game for him at the weekend if he does get the nod to start.
