Haines takes aim from 30 yards and like a bullet, her strike flies into the top corner, no chance for the keeper! 2-0 | 74'
That knocked Hashtag off the top of the table - replaced by Ipswich, against whom Watford are the only side to keep a clean sheet this season.
Hopefully ok . I think he is banned next week . Vata scored for Ireland under 21s. https://x.com/VoicesOfTheVic/status/1858198671642231224
Don't know if it's just me but I got a laugh out of reading Sweden's line up - they had a player called Rafferty...
Twitter is going bonkers since Musk bought it. There is so much hateful comment I prefer to avoid it now, apart from Watford news. I did write to the media team at Watford, suggesting that along with other clubs they posted their news on Bluesky, a much better place. They have opened an account, and are going to monitor the situation, but have limited resources to cover all platforms. Our fans are starting to find it, including some from this forum. Bluesky is gathering a million new follows a day as the exodus from Twitter gathers pace. With Musk in government, I can only imagine Twitter will become the mouthpiece of the Trump administration, and become even worse.
I presume the it's a cracker comment isn't the issue there but something in replay which has been deleted. Unfortunately people across the world find it easy to hide behind a screen and say what they like.
I tried Bluesky ages ago but couldn't get the hang of it - couldn't find anything or anyone so gave up. Just tried again today - only to find that they want me to pay an annual fee for a domain name, whatever that may be. So I gave up again. I know lots of people are leaving Twitter and deleting their accounts - one lady I follow reported that she lost 10,000 followers in a week. So far I've only lost 33, and I suspect they were all bots anyway. But for all its faults, it's the easiest one to navigate so I think I'll stick with it. I also have accounts with Mastodon and MeWe but, like Bluesky, they're not as straightforward as Twitter to use. Another one I use is Threads, but it has been really noticeable recently that former Twitter users are migrating there too, mostly the nasty ones. You can't say anything on there now without some foul-mouthed eejit making nasty, pointless comments.
Apparently 'cracker' is a racial slur of some sort in the US. The Facebook Police had a go at me for using the word this time last year, deleted my post but at least let me appeal - which I won.
