First proper frost this morning and chilly in the house ...

Had to relent and put the heating on for an hour this afternoon. Even my Scottish blood was frosting over...

I do love Autumn/Winter although it's the worst time of the year to be at the match

I'd love a. Multi fuel burner. Stoke it with coal to keep it going overnight then fire it up with logs during the day

Had a log burner fitted last November to our front room/lounge/snug. Don’t bother with the heating in that room now, the hallway by the door warms up as does the bedroom above when it gets going.

Just 3 logs and it’s sorted for 5-6 hours. I get to watch telly in shorts and a t-shirt. Perfect.

Got one of these in a bid to reduce bills as the living room is the one room that really needs heating. Works great, five minutes is all it needs to thoroughly warm a pretty big room up. Much more efficient than a radiator type space heater.

No heating on yet. That's why jumpers, hoodies, snoods etc etc were invented.

I have to admit that even though I live in a very warm country and overall it’s fantastic I do miss the changing seasons in the UK. Mrs K says she has never got used to Christmas in Australia even after so long of living here.

Meant to see a canny bit of snar in the next couple of days. Definitely feels cold enough for it like.

Need to get the main living room radiator back onto the wall after decorating, not a good time to have no heating!

I have Raynaud's disease so have struggled at the winter matches since I was a kid. Heated socks have made a massive difference

I bought these ones that you control from your phone

Our first heavy frost to wake up to today, love frosty mornings to kill the bugs, we've been using our heating for ages despite those meanies in Westminster.

Not too bad down Roker, although the kids play park looks frosty. Heating had to go on this morning mainly for the kids.

Think I'll be getting one of those fake electric heaters for the front room as it's directly onto the sea front. Once those northern winds hit it gets bloody cold!
