    True, although this weekend it’s done me a favour.
    Youngest’s 18th so party at my house and I get to cook for 40!

    As for hurling, I know nowt about it but my Irish bud at work is well into it.

    So as a kid if your good at rugby, either of golf, cricket, baseball and the egg and spoon race this is your sport?

    It’s pretty amazing when you see 10 year olds playing it. And no one is paid

    It's not often I catch the Irish sports but I will admit that they are a bit addictive once you get used to it.

    Crowds look amazing and the fact it is all amateur makes it a real sporting event. They are not doing it for money.

    It’s also interesting there is no transfer system. You play for your local club usually for your full playing career. I know many guys who’s grandfathers played for same club. Instills a huge sense of pride in the jersey

    Hope it never does. Lads and lassies play it for the love of the game and their clubs. The gaa is an amateur organisation that does untold good for youngsters. It’s like a network as they get older. Many get careers later in life from contacts they’ve made. When you bring big money into any sport, you ruin it in my opinion

    yep. I think they liked all those sports and decided to play them all at the same time with no rules.

    makes sense after a Guinness or 12.
