Yeah, good experience and he may learn something being with new lads from other teams and a new manager. At his age/experience, I think the learning and growth opportunities outweigh the injury risk.

Even if Alonso unexpectedly flops at Real next season, I think Slot is on track to earning enough good-will this season that, even if he had a poor season next season, FSG will give him time.
