Do you believe me now? The Ancient Gods were advanced beings who advanced us from Hominids to Humans and our long term destiny is to do the same in a different Galaxy
Me personally, I merely listen, hear the questions and listen to the various differing answers. I always struggled with the evolution answer, but that's probably more my misconception on what that actually meant. I struggle with the big bang as well, maybe that's either because it didn't happen or my brain just can't accept it on the strength or weaknesses of it's learning abililty or maybe it's merely disappointed. However, whether scientific or religious they are all intriguing and open up an absolute minefield of questions. People learn in different ways, my method of learning is using science, if that touches with me on a religious base (gods) then it;s a better way for my brain to learn and understand it. Everyone has the skills to learn and improve their knowledge and understanding, it;s just finding a way that helps get them to engage. So do I believe you now, the answer to that is I listened.
A psychiatrist? So not someone who studies the physical aspects of the brain, like a biologist, just someone who studies 'feelings'.
A psychiatrist studies the mind. A neurologist studies the brain. There is, as yet, no scientific theory which explains how conscious awareness arises from electro-chemical activity in the brain. This is referred to as the hard problem of consciousness. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_problem_of_consciousness
I'll post the shorter version as it's only Brian Cox that makes this interesting, Trebs would be shocked at me saying that lol. Physics protects the past, but you can travel into the future...
We actually time travel every time we fly more so with Concorde, fly from Heathrow at 5-00pm and land in America at 4-00pm the same day If on NewYears Eve you fly east to west you can go through several time zone and therefor see the New Year in several times
