I was out Broomfleet way at the weekend and passed this place

I bloke I know here in Sweden owns a farm (he calls it a ranch but he's watched too much Yellowstone). In the Spring he was up in the middle of the night doing something with a sick horse and was disturbed by a van, on Polish plates, in his yard with 4 lads getting out. He chased them off with a pitch fork apparently.

Anyway he got a bit spooked so he bought an German Shepherd from that mob in Broomfleet. They even delivered it to Sweden to train him and bond the dog to him.

He's a lovely dog very calm and friendly but once he gets the command it's like a ****ing whirling dervish of teeth. You wouldn't stand still if it came at you.

Mind you for what he paid I reckon he could have gotten a could of ex-Gurkha's for a year

 

I tried to look how much they cost but no clues on the site .i have a builder mate in Donny who paid a lot of money for a German shepherd (not from there ) as a protection dog absolutely useless he would have been better off with my Jack Russel .

 

I need to improve my skim reading skills.

I read that as he was up in the middle of the night doing something sick with a horse which rather changed the tone of your anecdote.
