Hughes Drameh Simon's Special mention for Omur who I thought had a better game than of late, plus Longman looked good when he came on.
I thought Hughes was outstanding. Drameh offers something at both ends and struggling to think of a worthy 3rd…Simon’s perhaps. Hughes was way out front though. The Burstow wing experiment needs to stop here.
Drameh Pedro Simons Honourables for Slater, Hughes, Longman Slater and Hughes would probably have made my top 3 if it wasn't for making two key costly mistakes which cost us a result.
Five points for first choice, three for second, one for third. Hughes 104 Pedro 46 Drameh 34 Omur 31 Simons 26 Longman 11 Slater 7 Puerta 7 Burstow 4 Hughes fast becoming Mr Reliable. Pedro has an eye for goal, if not a lot else. Drameh has a mistake in him but is a better option than Giles. It was promising to see Longman come back in to good effect. Omur and Simons had solid if unspectacular games. Frankly, if we are to get out of the mess we're currently in, then these are the players who'll need to do it for us.
