Great win that. Rode our luck at times in that second half, but did what we needed to do to get that long overdue first win of the season. To do so away from home at Spurs - a good team with a strong home record - will hopefully give all the lads a massive confidence boost that we can stay up this season.
In terms of man of the match, I don’t think there was a poor performance out there - similar to the Leicester match. O’Shea looked really solid out there today, dealt with everything thrown at him. Szmodics got a goal and effectively assisted the other. Delap scored and got an assist. Both had great games. Hutchinson might edge it for me though. Tireless throughout the 98 minutes and kept driving the ball forwards and taking the initiative.
Hutch MOM for me, his best performance in a pink shirt! And who else predicted that score, BigAl I think.
