We’ll never know as they are all imponderables. The beauty of football, far harder to predict than most other sports.
Due to being at a kids party when we played Cardiff and in France Vs Bristol.....Ive realised today that being sat in the south stand I'm yet to see us score in front of us this season
Taken in isolation the manager would be very unlucky to get sacked after today's game but we've lost again and are now very much in a relegation fight Did somebody say the Slater header was a difficult chance ?? He should have absolutely buried that
Thought Babby Madeley had an impressive return to the MKM. Managed to keep out of the way and held the subs board up really well. Found his level.
"We played well" but still lost - that's the sign of a relegation team - we clearly are sleepwalking into League One IMO
His board had the wrong numbers on it, one minute added time first half, and five minutes second half, was nowhere near what it should have been. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Seri's loss was completely avoidable, he was pushed out all pre-season so it's no surprise he ended up leaving. We had a lot of churn in the summer, but we also made no effort to minimise it either.
What surprised me that, if a team wanted to bring a sub on, the coaches and assistants had to program the numbers into the board for him. They then handed Madley the board back along with a subsititution card. Lazy barsteward can't be bothered to input the subs himself.
Thinking the same thing after the game. Especially Tufan as well as adding scoring prowess he created openings with his deft flicks and first time passes And Seri of course controlled the game with his superb passing, Puerta Simons et al have not filled is shoes
But they were never going to, they're 2 young kids. Tufan and Seri have both got 60+ international caps and played at the highest level. Fair play to Simons though, he's really stepped up this year
I miss those two more than anyone from last season. They were ours and should never have been let go especially as we knew we were losing all the loans plus Philogene and Greaves who we knew would be going
Tufan particularly is a huge loss, extremely difficult for a club at our level to get a player of that ability. Another manager may have built a team around him rather than shoehorning him out wide and up front.
If this was still the Allams we would be absolutely baying for blood at how poorly that summer was handled - and by that I mean Acun was acting in the best interests of the club but handled it as poorly as people deliberately sabotaging the club, which really speak to the level of incompetence displayed.
I wouldn’t go that far, he has reinvested solid funds, just not built a good team, but we have some fantastic players. The Allams would have pocketed it all and signed free transfers and loans from premier league youth teams and the lower leagues.
