If you dont go to any away games Youve seen hull city win 3 times in 2024 And we are obviously in november
You'd be hard pushed to find a worse manager - Wally is taking us down and the longer he stays the more likely we are to get relegated. I can't see where our next 3 points are coming from and opposition teams are queuing up to take the points off us.
Absolutely sick of leaving that place in a huff while the away fans celebrate and take the piss. Looking forward to a break to do other things until mid December
Rosey got the boot for constantly playing a keeper that couldn't use his hands, nothing to do with playing style, despite what our mental owner says.
The owner is now faced with a huge decision... 'IF' he gets rid of Walter(and his ball),he needs to be very certain that he's bringing in the right person to get this right.Anymore screw ups could well see us battling away at the bottom of the table until May.'That said,'IF' he doesn't get rid of him he could still see the same outcome.. I'm relieved I'm not in our owners shoes at this moment in time,it's a sh!tty mess and he too must share some of the blame...
This !!! I’d agree with this but will add I honestly think the sheff game we didn’t deserve to lose that. We play some cracking football but are let down in the final third. It’s weird how virtually every manager calls us a good team and that comes from a professional in the game. A cushioned header from slater and it’s 2-2, not try and put your heed through the ball lad. Longman did well when he came on. This team will not get relegated, there are at least 3/4 worse teams.
And if they didnt make a stupid pass to us The slater chance doesnt happen Point is You cant keep talking about fine margins Over and over
Don't believe what managers say in their press conference/interview. Alex Ferguson advice to Pullis when Stoke got promoted was that you never want the opposition manager to say what a good team you are you want them moaning and complaining.
And are all accountants apparently, given how excited they were about "a big earner off the wage bill"
I don’t know, if you ask me It’s a pretty fine margin between the 21 points available from our last seven games and the 3 points we earned.
A story of cock ups yet again. Hughes needlessly gave them a corner in the build up to their second goal. Coyle had a bad game too which didn't help - he was far too far away from the attacker for their first. The mistakes up front cost us yet again too. We played quite well overall, against a side who will be up the top end of the table come the end of the season. Generally speaking I do think we create more good chances than people give us credit for, we just don't capitalise on them, but whenever we NEED to show that bit of quality or bravery we drop a bollock far too often... Really good example was Ömur's breakaway run in the first half. Had about 4 opportunities to pass the ball, we had the numbers... He ends up holding onto it and turning backwards. We have too many players whose first instinct is to go backwards. Coyle, passing it wide without looking, to a Burstow who'd advanced up the pitch. Ball rolls out for a throw in. Hughes miskicking the ball out for a corner. Slater's header over the bar. Pandur not coming out and claiming the ball for their second goal. Puerta constantly putting hands on the opposition and gifting free kicks when they're in the lead. Crossing straight to their keeper too often. Passing where a player should be making a run only to find they've not made the run, and conversely not passing to players who make good runs and opting for the safe option instead. We have dedicated throw in takers as if there's some sort of plan, but then nobody ever shows for the ball. This has been going on for years to be fair. Honestly, I think we SHOULD have more points than we have. I also don't think you can chalk most of the results up to the manager right now - most of the goals we concede are **** ups and most of the times we're not converting chances are **** ups. The only realistic counter measure for this in my opinion is to give the players more time to learn each other's wavelengths. I'll get slated for this no doubt as people obviously want the manager gone, but for me the results are more on the players than Tim. Most of the games I've seen this season I've thought we were the better side overall but have been the architects of our own downfall due to moments of sheer sloppiness or brain farts. What we're missing is a captain who will stamp that **** out. Tim should have made some subs sooner today, but that isn't the reason we lost the game.
