We have scored 13 goals this season in 15 league games by numerous scorers. Frey has scored 3 and is our top scorer. This shows the lack of goals we have in our team. At present if we go 1-0 down it is unlikely we will get more then a draw as we have only scored two goals twice. One was the draw against Sheffield United and the other the win against Luton. M Madsen has scored 2 but one was a penalty. L Dykes scored 1 but has now gone. One was an own goal. The last time we scored two goals was the 30 August . Every game since we have scored 1 or none. We have let 25 goals in and only kept two clean sheets, both ended 0-0 as we couldn't score. We have played 2 teams when they have gone down to 10 men but drawn both. My guess is they shat the bed when they realised how crap Santos is at full-back and prioritised having one actual right-back in Ashby over a second left-back. Getting Larkeche games was a good move. He’ll be key to our L1 mid-table consolidation. We spent the whole summer trying to shift Paal to Watford and he ends up seeing out his contract while taking up another spot in the injury black hole to never be seen again. There’s a kid, Casey Shann, who those who watch the kids say is quite good. Not good enough for our elite squad clearly.
