Nah he's gone. He'll have a good game every month or so but everything in between is so painfully poor. And the fact he is captain isn't helpful either.
I was so sure, even us with the dr Tottenham paranoia would not **** this one up! Massive second half needed. This is disaster territory.
Ipswich have out-thought and out-fought us. They deserve the lead. Id like more creativity but we also need some bottle, so not sure who could provide both?
Ipswich want it more and have been quicker in every department that half... Can't believe I've predicted us to win ffs
Your defense of him is equally bizarre. You can't watch a player turn out 5 crap performances per every 6 games and see it as an "agenda" when someone points it out.
This is what concerns me. It doesn't seem to matter who we play, all they need to do to win is work harder and want it more. This suggests we lack the base level of quality to win when playing poorly, and also suggests that we have a piss poor mentality running throughout the team.
I would say “perhaps we’ll do a Brighton” but we won’t. Another terrible game where we’ve not turned up. You’d have thought we’d have learnt from Palace. Nope!
Neither What does need to be asked is why we always seem to lay an egg in the match before an international break, because there's already people out there assuming it's solely because the players are easing off to avoid an injury before internationals ...which is likely bollocks, because our players were just as incapable of passing to a teammate the other night, just as they seemed incapable of doing so for most of the Coventry match
Fed up of seeing a defender on the ball and Bentancur just standing there being marked. Not enough movement in the middle of the pitch in general and some really sloppy passes at times. Would like to see Benta and Johnson go off but Sarr and Solanke both seem to have knocks and we're seemingly lining up Timo as the first attacking sub which is just a waste of everyone's time.
Scary thing he probably is the best striker but has definitely lost at least a yard of pace. You can see it from on high unfortunately and the opposition have sussed that out. Defensively horrific again but that lack of muscle in the middle of the park not helping things. Nerd a quick goal but the longer this goes on at 0 - 2 then it will get ugly....
13th time this calendar year that Spurs have conceded first at home apparently. That’s beyond worrying.
