Removal of general sale to members only and the prices of the Liverpool game suggests they think we are all having a FUN time.

They had to (re)introduce general sale for Tottenham & Chelsea.

That’s more what I mean, it was a criticism of our recruitment. We’ve had 10 another options and every single one of them has either already failed or never proved themselves to be good either. It stinks from top to bottom and somehow out of all that ****e we’ve settled for two that are terrible. I would argue we’d be in a better place if we could have got Salisu and Bella-Kotchap to get a partnership going but unfortunately we sold Salisu as soon as we could sniff £££ and Bella couldn’t give a **** about playing for us anymore.

I laughed when my friend told me how much I owed him for the Liverpool game. What a joke.

Salisu is a talented player with an absolutely **** attitude, ABK is a talented player with glass legs.

Suggests our due diligence is lacking.

ABK has a worse attitude than Salisu, is overweight, and the coaching staff don’t think he’s anywhere near as good as we do.

Listening and reading a few of the quotes from RM yesterday, I think he knows he is in trouble.
Surely the club can’t let this slide any more. Perfect time to get shot of him now, with the international break, even though it’s probably too late already.
Conspiracy theory:- Lallana to take charge on Monday, then Carsley in after the international break. Has coached at both Man City and Brentford, for the Rasmus link. Also called up THB and recalled Ramsdale to England??

I would strongly question the coaching staff’s ability to judge how good a player is to be honest

That did cross my mind too, but being overweight and with an attitude is unforgivable.

What peaceful protests could be suggested to illustrate the fans disapproval of RM still being in a job and to a lesser extent SR's overall running of the club?
T shirts with "Are we having Fun" printed on them? - Pelting the ****er with rotten eggs? :emoticon-0116-evilg:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Given that I do want to move from Martin - and have done for months - my ill-feeling towards him is surprisingly nowhere near as bad as it was for Puel, Pellegrino and Jones (I can't comment on Branfoot because that was before my time).

With those three, I wanted them out of my club, never to be seen again. I hated all three of them. I don't feel like towards Martin, even though I'm certain that he's getting us relegated.

Maybe it's because I'm grateful that he took us back to the PL? Or maybe I subconsciously accept that few managers could keep us up? Or maybe it's because I've become relaxed at the possibility of turning into a yo-yo club, with next season to hopefully produce as many wins as last season? But whatever my reason is, I can't bring myself to group him with the three aforementioned dreadful, dreadful managers.

One of my all time favourites - Jan Poortvliet, fancy having to pay yourself out of a contract and don't get me started on Reform Rupert!

For me, the madness of the managerial situation provides an opportunity that Saints have had before to really elevate the club with the right appointment, but sadly, we’ve cocked it up before and suspect that we will again.

If we look up the road at Bompey, their player and management recruitment has really been very good since the new owner took over.

The calculated risk of appointing Iraola has been backed financially and the club is arguable where we used to be when we used to knock on the door of the top 8 regularly.

I understand the need for financial prudence, but continuing with RM is a sure fire way to breed apathy amongst players and fans alike.

We need to make a statement with a manager signing and our ambition because the only thing that we’re saying currently is that mediocrity is at best what we’re aiming for.

The options other than RM are very limited but I don’t believe that the right person couldn’t be found with waving some money at the situation.

Having slept on it, I do think that we were stitched up by the officials and were a little unlucky but that doesn't change the fact that we had a great chance to win a crucial 6 pointer if only we had put their defence under pressure with having controlled the play in the first half.
I'm seeing little sign that things are going to change soon under Russell with the frustrating slow build ups and lack of ideas up front and so I have changed my vote reluctantly from in to out.
He is a decent bloke and I believe the players still love him but it's time for a different way but he has secured his place in Saints history and i'm grateful to him and his staff.

It’s already happening. Archer remaining on the ground after being fouled rather than running back quickly, suga looked disinterested as he watched on for their first.

Puel?? The manager when we played Liverpool 4 times in a season without conceding? Who took us to a final we should have won? Under whom we were disappointed to finish 8th?

Charisma he lacked, but I’d take his record.

Puel was a good manager for us. He played to the squads strength. At the time I thought it was right that we moved on, having been spoiled under Adkins MP and Koeman. But given that our aims and expectations have dropped Puel should have stayed.

    Yep, that manager, Hated him.

We finished six points above 17th place.

Wrong manager at the wrong time.

I kind of agree with this. I don't hate the bloke and obviously there was some good will from last season, although that's all but extinguished. I'm just so tired of it all. We're back to square one of being a really **** prem team because it seems no one wants to learn from mistakes. Worst of all is I just now feel bored of football. Bored of tippy tappy slow build up play, bored of seemingly never shooting, bored of ****ing VAR screwing us.

Ultimately either way you dress it up, it's not all Martin’s fault. The arses that recruited him, the absolute **** state of our scouting for both players and managers and the general amateur levels of these owners in their multi club system has doomed us until they're gone. At least others are slowly starting to realise this on social media. In the next 4 years we're basically going to turn in to Stoke City, then they'll get bored and **** off.

Context is important, he oversaw a massive drop in quality from what we had under Koeman (63 points to 46). That said he didn’t have Pelle, Mane, Wanyama. Also Fonte left mid season (partly as a result of his choices) and Van Dijk was crocked for a large part of the season.
