Zzzzzzzz given its am entire half and before the goal we look to have dropped off it and handed them the initiative.

It was "control"up to about 70mins or so with passes being easy and Villa refusing to come.out like we were inviting them to.

Edit..I actually half blame villa for not trying something else

Female commentator gives motm to Salah, is she Garth Crooks in disguise?

The more we win, the more annoying that Forest defeat looks!

As someone once said to me not a great performance but job done .
I've had a good day and being top of CL and 5 pts clear at top of PL is a rather pleasant way to wrap it up as i finish off a bottle of Shiraz

Definitely not as exciting as Klopp - but perhaps ultimately more efficient.
Our best attacking move seems to be conceding a corner.

But less surprising, given their form so far this season.

I would have gone for Konate, but if Salah scores he usually gets it.

Well the Hobgoblin glass has performed well again, so much so I am trying to finish my pint and the bloody glass is still doing celebratory laps around the lounge!!!!!!

Surely someone needs to sit down and get Salah and vvd signed up asap in this international window?

The glass is hobgoblin, the beer is Warnsteiner. I have been diagnosed as a diabetic so avoid beer and drink real Pils, which is ok apparently. However I have started speaking English with a German accent and have an urge to visit Poland!

I'm stuck with fizzy Aldi San Miguel rip off St Marcos, can't swap in case we lose.First two are tasty then taste buds fall asleep.Might have to slowly ween myself of with Proper Job IPA or Harper's IPA.Might suffer a draw during the transition.

Ah yes my mistake,Warnsteiner has got plenty of flavour.Fisrt time I had that was at Chester Rugby club.
In the 80' s only knew of two pub's that served Becks on draught ( the proper stuff non of this 4% bollocks). McCulloch's in Wallasey and Market Tavern in Wigan.....ahhh those were the days.Prefer real ale/IPA now.
As an old arse front row I've probably drank a lot more different brews than I can remember but never got to the dizzy heights of some of the lads, one in particular who was a bank manager would regularly do 22 pints and he wasn't alone. No it's not big or clever but that's how the rugby lads were . Despite the health issues of playing rugby ( not drinking) I wouldn't swap it for the world. The lads I played with in the 80's are still my real friends.

We started the season against bottom half teams... We looked good, but that was bare minimum.

Now, we've been working through some of the better teams... And we still look good. Beginning to get a slight twinge of hope.
