Actually, now I put the scores in, one outstanding individual got three points for Millwall 1-0 Leeds United. I'm not able to reveal their identity at present. It's just a shame I didn't put a joker on it.

Not exactly great scoring this time and we're mostly WAY off on the number of goals scored. Joe, Lyndhurst and Plym were the best of a poor bunch in the match forecasts and Lyndhurst got the late goal time too.

    upload_2024-11-7_22-10-50.png

As a result, Lyndhurst was the big mover in quite tightly packed table, up from 5th to 3rd.

No time to breathe with this season, but we're all in, thank you.

    upload_2024-11-8_16-7-3.png

By comparison with the measly 20 goals scored in the last round, we're all expecting loadsagoals, with Lyndhurst and Sensible topping out with 33.

Perhaps it's because we see several clear winners: unanimous on Watford to win as well as Leeds, Sunderland and Sheffield United and seven of the eight for for Middlesbrough and Burley.

    upload_2024-11-8_16-13-24.png

I've joined the "Joker On The Super Match" group, so that's scuppered it for the rest of you for sure. Elsewhere, Watford and Leeds are the other popular picks.

    upload_2024-11-8_16-16-21.png

It's a similar pattern again with the exception of Joe, who's gone for a 0-1 Argyle win with the goal not being scored until the 71st minute. There's a sort of logic to it: if we were to win 0-1, I can't see it happening with us scoring in the 10th minute and then holding out for the other 80. I've put us down for a win, although I don't quite know why, but I think it's more likely that we'll concede in the process, so it's got to be at least 1-2, which probably means at least one in the first half.

So, thanks for getting your forecasts in in such a short time. After this we have a break until 22nd Novermber.

Thank you - it was all a bit last minute but a real honour to represent the club in this way.

I'm almost too modest to say that I topped out the match scores with 19. Almost but not quite.

    upload_2024-11-10_22-32-34.png

Away was closest to the goal time: 10 minutes forecast versus 8 actual. It didn't then go on to be a high scoring game, but there were 32 goals in total, up from just 20 last time.

    upload_2024-11-10_22-37-1.png

Lyndhurst moved up to silver medal position with his score of 17 and Plym overtook SMH.

We have a break until the 22nd November due to the international break. There was a really nasty piece in the Times today from Martin Samuel, lambasting Thomas Tuchel for his lack of involvement with England since his appointment. I don't suppose it's Tuchel's fault how the FA have managed (if that's the right word) the appointment.

Mind you, Samuel once wrote for the Daily Mail, need I say more, and also thinks not only that Manchester City are innocent of any financial impropriety but that there is no need for any financial regulation of the biggest clubs. John Motson famously wore a sheepskin coat and Samuel's head is full of its shredded remains.
