Try to always be positive regarding rhe team and don't like to post at the height on being annoyed but that result today has totally and utterly pi**ed me off. Them 2 moments of magic in the first half were unbelievable and by end of first half looked as though second half would be a stroll. My god how wrong I was I am now going to have a go and say that second half performance from the team cannot be defended what so ever. To throw that game away at home 2 nil up is a pi*take to be honest. That is 3 points out of 9 available against 3 teams in the bottom 5 it isn't good enough.
Positives we're first half goals and we are still top for now.

No wonder I have high blood pressure watching this lot. Boy do they drag you through the ringer.

I think I need calm to analyse that but why oh why do we sit so deep. It was so obvious they were going to score. Mind you we missed a few to get a third.

Hopefully the break will refresh and focus on these weaknesses. Millwall will be tough because of suspensions and injuries

    Big tests coming up.

    Onwards and upwards eh!!

Wondering if this new assistant manager is having too much pull? Since he's came in we've tightened right up at the back but have slowed down up top.

Remember regis saying the new guy was more focused on the defence.

I didn't watch it so I'm not as worked up as the Preston game, heard from a good friend and a good fan that we were class first half, Neil dominant, I've seen the goals they're awesome. Second half he said we stepped off and didn't press enough, Wright went across to O9 to bully him, Isidor missed a sitter and we were just not all there.

It's sad to draw three in a row! Despite being unbeaten in these 6 games, that Preston game felt like a defeat because of how dominant we were battered. Now this Coventry game, which doesn't grieve me like the QPR result because we all know how **** QPR are.

My friend also said he moved Isidor to the wing again to accommodate Connolly. We all make mistakes, but to me that is silly when you've got Watson there. No Aleksic again too, ****e for the lad.

Very disappointing second half. RLB got it way wrong today Love the bloke but needs to learn five at the back doesn’t work for this team. Dominant first half sat off them second getting over run in midfield brown gets injured and we bring on a defender Didn’t work against Leeds and handed them the game today Hope we learn from this desperately need an option to bolster the midfield and shut games down.
Feels like a loss at the moment

Mundle injured should’ve been Watson on

Browne injured should’ve been a midfielder of some sort. Went 5 ATB.

we didn’t control the game second half sat in and got bullied it’s not good enough

yet we’re still going to be 1st/2nd tomorrow.

got to get a win at milwall for me. I know they’re in form and a point is a good result but we need to win to push us forward again a bit more. 2 wins in the next 3 minimum for me

Obviously disappointed, but my opinion for what it’s worth is the tactics second half would have been judged much differently if the players had capitalised on several fantastic break away opportunities. The players should have done much better.

3 poor performances, today bringing on Ballard, fair enough but should have moved o9 into the Browne roll.
QPR , well look what Boro did to them.

Just got back from a long walk with my dogs, to cool off after the disappointment of giving away a two goal lead.

I don't understand why we went with 5 at the back? When Mundle got injured, I was expecting Watson to come on, not Connolly, because Wilson was having a good game up front.

We dropped two points because of the decisions made when Mundle and Browne had to go off IMO.

I get your point but I hate this argument of well Boro beat QPR or Pompey beat Preston

First thing is every team beats everyone in this league

but secondly teams down the bottom prepare and play differently against every team.

they’ll have set up against us at the top of the league very differently to how they played a Boro side who at the time weren’t firing. Some with Preston vs Pompey and us

We did and unfortunately that’s football and managers get things wrong from time to time. No manager will make the right decision but over 15 games we’ve got more points than everyone else in the league. Onwards

In hindsight we maybe should have brought on Mayenda instead of Connolly given we were pumping the ball upfield and their defence was easily dealing with that... Having a big lad up there just might have helped a bit more

I for one am really glad the league isn’t decent on form in a 3 game spell.

    onwards and upwards lads

Back home still pissed off gonna console myself with a curry and a few beers.

Would love to know how the half time team talk went. Anything other than absolutely fantastic lads same thing second half is poor in my opinion.

Could understand sitting back and almost conserving energy if we had a game Tuesday then next saturday but we've got 2 weeks off for christ sake.

Just looked at our next 3 games and they fill me with fear after the second half today

Great first half, frustrating as hell second half.

Going 5 at the back didn't work and just invited more pressure.

Despite the frustration, we are still top of the league, unbeaten in 8. The international break is time to regroup and go again.

Personally think you've had too much to drink :emoticon-0136-giggl

I hope so but can't see it myself. I'd probably take 3/4 myself which would have been ok if we had taken 7 from the last 3

You mean 7 from 9 points or 7 from 9 games? I may have misunderstood.

1 of those outcomes is very optimistic 1 is very pessimistic
