Yeah possession is fine, but it doesn’t win games unless you actually use it go forward are score goals. It’s not a complicated game really but Martin seems to be able to make it so.
Having nothing else since a disallowed goal, when losing to the worst defence in the PL is just as bad tbh.
Not sure if we’d find it any easier with a vastly changed squad, manager etc. The disappointment of such a poor PL season is going to be a real handicap to the possibility for any return anytime soon.
Someone should have a quiet word with Martin just to check in with him and make sure he knows what the giant pole is with the big net

We're the only team in the division yet to pick up any points from a losing position. And whilst I appreciate that a lack of quality is part of that, I do believe that our slow play is the primary reason. It's way too easy to take the lead against us and then just sit back. The only way that we can score is if the game is open - and PL teams are too smart to let that happen once they take the lead. Slow, painful and boring.
Disallowed goal a joke. Definitely should have had a foul leading up to their second too - the ref was f even looking at it. But the absolute worst thing is our 'style' of football. I've never been so bored in my life. Horrific.
Yep. The only reason we beat Everton is that they were, quite rightly IMO, going for the win. And they were an inch away from doing so.
Watching some of match of the day last week one thing really struck me: even the crap teams have strikers that can finish.
