It's a home game against a managerless team rightly in the bottom half … … no excuses for not dominating the game one way or another. They’ll have no real constraints on them so I don’t think they’ll sit back. Whatever happens I think we’ll have too much for them. If our midfield can get the ball forward quicker we can catch them out, Mundle needs to think less and just run with the ball. He checks and tries to beat people with dribbling too much for my liking.
I think both him and Roberts need to learn when to release the ball. Both can beat a man but once you have either shoot, cross it or square it off. Do not go back 3 or 4 times until your hustled out of it.

I think the reason Browne was poor on Wednesday could be explained if we compare it to somebody like Quinn or Gooch coming back to play against us at the SOL. When Browne left he wasn’t booted out and was on good terms with the club and fans (a good thing) so it’s understandable if he has feelings for Preston Nob End still and that could explain his below par performance. If a player leaves and is unhappy with the way he’s left then they will double their commitment to beating us just to show us what we could have had. Browne now should give us a top performance to make up for the PNE game and I think he will. * I wouldn’t play him in our home game against them.
Relying on this place for updates today gutted I can’t make it, on the plus side the only home game I’ve missed we won 4-0 so same again please lads!
Thanks for the great, scene-setting thread again RTB. I think it will be an open game compared to the cagey one against Preston. Both side's attacks are very useful. We are going to need to be bang at it and I hope our final third play is more like what we are capable of. Haway lads!
