This will be the last home game I miss before moving back home full time after 25 years away.
Safe travels to all attending exiles and locals alike.
Enjoy the match, cheer them on for me and my lads.
Home win by any score will be great.

3-1 The Lads. I’d have Roberts and Mundle back in, Jobe was a big miss but we can play better than on Wednesday without him.

Certainly was and Browne didn’t play well imo.

He’d been at Preston a long time and looked emotional at the end …

… hopefully a start at a packed SOL will see a performance.

No not against these. I would settle for a nervy 1-0 win but hoping for a 7-0 thrashing and for their coach to get a puncture on the way home.

We cant afford to start like we did against Preston. For that reason alone, I expect Reg to shelve plan B . OaU.

Coventry are a very good team who've had a slow start (like they seem to do every year).

It feels like a win is important for us today following back to back draws and that should have been made more possible by their ridiculous decision to sack Mark Robins. I'm not sure there's many managers in the English football pyramid that's done a better job than he did at Coventry.

Tight game. 2-1 Rigg and Cirkin on the scoresheet
