Stranger things have happened at that club, haven’t had much luck with transfers, hopefully it continues and he comes back to where he’s loved
"José Mourinho is targeting the manager’s job at Newcastle if Eddie Howe leaves St James’ Park. The Fenerbahce head coach has unfinished business in the Premier League and has identified Newcastle as his best chance of another job in England, having managed Chelsea twice, Manchester United and Tottenham." "Mourinho is understood to have reached out to intermediaries asking to be kept abreast of any developments at Newcastle. The 61-year-old met Newcastle’s chairman, Yasir al-Rumayyan, at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in a social capacity in March and has maintained the connection."
Why are these commentators banging on about Watford being the most in-form home team ffs. In the six home matches our form is better ... ... in fact we're the best home team in the Championship at the moment. We're also the best away side but let's not confuse them too much
We’ll this is a bit grim Oxford playing a lot better than they did at our place. Not a lot to say about Watford
Real shame we lost there. Their tactics, from supercoach Cleverley, are banging long balls up to the wings ... ... for a bit of variety they bang long balls through the middle. Oxford know they can take all three points if they're crafty.
Having watched last night I'm more annoyed we came away from there with nothing. Don't want to get into the DN blame game but Watford were so poor first half if Oxford had a forward line they should have been out of sight. Mind the complete reverse happened second half.
Agree mate. They can’t be a bad side or they wouldn’t be 4th, but when you watch them there’s nowt about them. Both sides we’ve lost to have been poor sides, which is bizarre, as well as 2 of the 3 draws. Leeds comprehensively the best side we’ve played and Luton closest to them, up to Christmas period is massive we will know exactly where we are after Burnley away in January.
Boro look good here. Creating much better chances than they were earlier in the season. They'll definitely be in the promotion chase playing like this. Luton on the other hand, terrible.
