Condolences to you and yours Gary. As ever you'll grieve and also laugh at the memories you'll always have.
Condolences Tickton, can relate closely to how you feel as a very similar relationship and life story to my dad RIP Ken
So sorry Tickton to hear this heartbreaking news, sincere condolences to you & your family. A good innings lived, but as Ernie said a good age, and even though expected, is no barrier to feeling loss & grief. Sounds like you’ve got some great City irreplaceable memories to cherish. Take care of yourself. RIP Ken
My mate Bob Struggled with MND last few years after retiring Another mate who doesn’t get to pick up his old age pension! One of the nicest blokes I’ve ever met RIP mate At peace now
Sympathise. Had an aunty die of it. Very well off which is of no use. Her daughter after looking after her and watching her go said she would top herself whilst she could if she got it. Maybe the right thing to do, or maybe not.

Celebrity hairdresser Trevor Sorbie has died aged 75. My old flat-mate trained under him in Covent Garden when I first moved to London in the early 80's.
Tony Todd, who played the titular serial killer in the Candyman horror franchise, died in Los Angeles on Wednesday night aged 69. He died of natural causes at home in Marina Del Rey, according to his representative Jeffrey Goldberg, who told TMZ he did not have a specific cause of death. Over the course in four decades in show business, Todd lent his talents to multiple tentpoles, including the Transformers and Final Destination film series.
For you now and anyone dreading that day not being too far away, myself included, sympathies and best wishes Tickton.
