3 changes required at HT need Sarr, Kulu and Udogie you can choose anyone to take off but Bergvall, Son and gray for me

Maddison has been poor since his return ... has had the occasional decent performance but doesn't warrant a starting place imho

You can add Son to that list.

Nah. Push Archie into his proper position in CM. Udogie on for Bergvall. Sarr on for Maddison. That already starts to look better.

I’d sub the midfield three at HT and probably give Dorrington a go for either CB too as he can’t be any worse. Both have been dreadful. The high line doesn’t work with two CBs that don’t have pace.

I cannot recall an Ange era game where
Spurs have gone on to win against decent
opposition from a HT GD of -2.

He’s no better than Ben Davies from what I’ve seen. Still think the club need another CB

3-1 HT. Very poor. Lots of dreadful individual performances, but the whole system hasn't worked.
We should activate Osimhen's buy clause at half-time and go from there. <whistle>

As RCL says he was excellent at the weekend. He's made a lot of basic errors this evening, but I'm sure the lack of any MF cover is not helping

I’m increasingly thinking he’s one that will fade out of the team this season. He could be a bit of a ‘transitional’ player for us really, someone who came in to help kickstart a big stylistic change, but who fades away over time.

There’s so much to like about watching him - the way he carries the ball, controls it in tight spaces, the feints, he strikes the ball so well. But if he’s not 100% on it then he can stink the place out and he seems like the kind of player that doesn’t have a wide window of peak, or close to peak, performance. And he doesn’t back up the big talk and love of the spotlight with bite. Lamela would snap you in half, Maddison sometimes just barks.

Joking aside, he's a serious talent and will terrorise most defences. Love to see him at Spurs!

I think Dragusin looks good when he's acting purely as a defender in a balanced team, but that's not how we play.
His passing hasn't worked well when we're under pressure and we'll always be put in that position with Angeball.
Some of the better passers out there have been terrible today though, so I don't mean this performance specifically.

He's not a left back though, the pass for goal was sublime, maybe as Ck suggested he should go into midfield. The more i think about amongst a lot of poor performances Bissouma is right up there

I’ve said this before. He’s not the standard of player that plays often if you’re a top side. On his day he’s decent but goes awol often.

Dragusin's touch for the second goal was awful. He's done that twice in the Europa League now.

Pretty much what I expected but I'd like to see Gray given a chance as an 8. Maddison and Bergvall feel like they have the same problem as Maddison and Kulu in midfield where it leaves us far too open and we can't play Sarr every game. I'm guessing we might see Bentancour at half-time though.

On the plus side, Lankshearer's off the mark :)
