I did say I didn’t know the facts leading up to this crash and it could well be another drivers fault, but to clean out the central reservation and end up on both carriageways takes some doing if your doing 60 mph in lane one. I will listen with interest when the outcome of this accident is announced. The A6 has now got problems at Lancaster with the road closed due to an overturned car so it sounds like it’s an awful night for travelling , and those fans who make it to the game have to find a way home, I applaud them all.
Wilson on the left, Watson on the right, Connolly upfront with Rigg floating methinks. Impressed with the team.
Wasn't having a go at your thoughts on the crash I was just pointing out the professionalism point you made, there's more worse van/cars and other vehicles drivers that haven't got a clue about road safety, the rules of the road. Every driver who has passed a test must take responsibility of his actions but normally they usually blame professional drivers for their own mistakes because of the professional term. Anyhow there's a game on so well played to all the lads that got down there safely and hopefully they'll have a good night with a safe journey back
Wilson/Watson could be on the opposite side to that tbh, Watson's best has come on the left for sure and Wilson we've seen mostly on the left so far. There could be something else going on.
Really like playing Isidor wide tonight, can really isolate one of Prestons centre backs in wide areas with his speed. Huge game for Watson, excited to see him from the start.
I did think that as well. Good to have these options though especially having Roberts & Mundle on the bench. But only if needed. Hopefully we dont.
Great thread as usual @RTB, love it. I doubt many of would have predicted that line up. I bet Preston didn't, I can picture their dressing room thinking, "****, we didn't plan for that" I'm going for 3 - 1 to the lads, Rigg, Isidor, and Roberts to come on and get one late on. Ha'Way The Lads.
Gotta feel for Mayenda a bit. Was unexpectedly our unanimous number one striker then got injured and has come back and he’s third that’s football. And great for us.
Watson, brilliant. Lad has talent. Will enjoy watching another academy lad make his journey with us hopefully. Connolly up front suits me nicely as well. I am a fan of his back to goal play. Haway the lads, excited, albeit from my sofa. Belt a song out for me lads if you are there.
