No bet but the 1.20 at Chepstow interests me. Pipe’s Jurancon takes on FOB’s Tripoli Flyer with the latter favoured in the betting. Lto Jurancon ran a fine race when runner up to The Kemble Brewery at Worcester. He also clearly has the benefit of recent match practice. It is Tripoli Flyer’s seasonal debut but his last run was in the graded bumper at the Aintree GN meeting where he was runner up to a stable mate. In 4th that day was Skelton’s Valgrand who won in eye catching fashion at the Cheltenham October meeting. So looks like 2 decent types to keep an eye on.

A couple of weeks ago I told you about a horse called LEVER UP - Easterby. It was backed at big prices down to 7/4 and pulled up after hanging off the track. Today it ran at Musselburgh backed again 12 to 13/2 ... More or less tailed off and hanging the other way this time, then inside the final 2 it took off and finished fast closing third... thankfully this time I got some back having backed it at 11... what the hell are they doing running it around a bend...
