Yeah, I mean there are obviously editorial restrictions on the mainstream media and areas of discussion they tend to shy away from. The problem with non-mainstream media is that its almost always heavily politically extreme, subject to little editorial overview, usually run by crackpots, and intended to promote one heavily biased narrative.
Agree with that mate, although I’m not so sure mainstream itself is any different now though in whom they choose to allow on their panel, that’s the point I’m trying to make. Given, it’s obviously not bots like social media but they hand pick who they want to help push their agenda.
There's definitely bias but they are subject to some degree of overview which means they can't stray too far. So, I think you're better off absorbing a range of mainstream stuff because that will get you closer to the 'truth' than any of the more shadowy media will.
Nobody knows it all and never will, pandering to minorities will never appease the many. Harris has just found that out.
