It's like the minute the majority agree with you you swing the other way. <laugh>

Walter needs to go, it's not short termist to say so.

Get Colin in to sort them out. At least we’d get good press conferences.

Respectfully. When he’s refused to come face up to the fans that have spent their hard earned cash on a Tuesday night 200 miles from home.

    He can ****ing do one.

His team have shown their colours last 4 games. Look like scoring with no clinical edge and the second the opposition punch them in the mouth they fold like a deck of cards.

Whoever they get in has to address that last point otherwise I do really fear the worst

Yes, nothing personal against Mr Walter, he seems like a nice enough chap. Just a **** manager, so he’s got to go.

What about him makes you think he's nice? He doesn't talk to the players during the week, he doesn't come over to thank the fans for travelling, he digs out the fans to shift the blame off himself. Seems a proper ****.

    He usually does though
He just didnt tonight, he left it to the players
Fans were calling for his head, he knew hes gone
Probably thought its for the best

No idea who he talks to during the week
And the comments about the fans was overblown

    But hes gone

Time for the next manager to be sacked

Not sure how you can call him a ****
He might be **** at his job
    But a **** is stupid as ****

We need to be stable top 8-10 and take our chance when it comes.

    Gonna need time and money.

I'm in a minority in that I don't mind the idea of his system. I like the idea of a manager who has a plan, and I'm sure it could work if other things were right.

I think he has to go because he looks like he's lost the players. These last two performances, total collapses as soon as we face a challenge. That's when you know a manager is done.

It's not as bad as Shota. We're not being played off the park, we're not a total mess. But we are a team that's lost all confidence and fight, and that is definitely on the manager. That's the biggest part of his job and the most obvious sign that he's failing.

From early on it was clear that his communication was a problem. He is very difficult to make sense of. His interview tonight is a great case in point; most of it is genuinely hard to work out what he's talking about. The bits that are clear don't make sense, such as him saying "sometimes it's like this" when talking about a young squad buckling under pressure - it clearly isn't normal to collapse like this in consecutive games, that response plays it down to an extent that it's just a weird thing to say. This communication, unfortunately, was always going to be an issue.

His attitude has also been strangely combative from an early stage. From VAR, to goal music, to the fans, to the way he is and isn't allowed to speak to refs, everything he's found different to Germany, he's not been humble about it at all, he's just taken a superior attitude and made out like this country and league is really backwards because it's not what he's used to. Sorry Tim, this country and league eat up and spit out wafflers like you.

If he's not sacked tomorrow it'll be a strange state of affairs.

    Hard to argue

Hes entilted to be how he is but also needs to accept that when hes not got a closer connection with the fans, when things are tough on the pitch, he doesnt have that to fall back on
    And he basically alienates everyone

Ive never seen away fans turn on a manager like tonight, and i think thats in part to him being so combatitive and distant

After a nights kip I have cogitated.

There’s part of me which thinks “I can’t take any more of this”. And there’s another part thinking “It was always going to be a season of transition”.

I guess what I’m eluding to is, give him until the Coventry game (December 14th). That’s 7 games to either get his idea right OR adapt or that’s him done. It’s also 5.5 weeks for Acun and his team to prepare someone who can have 3 games before the January transfer window.

I saw some idiot on Facebook or Twitter saying he’s gone & Acun’s going for the Cardiff guy who got sacked the other week
I doubt either is true, but with Acun, you never know how stupid he’s going to be!

If he's still in charge this weekend, we'll get battered.

The team have stopped believing that he can manage them in whatever his style is.

Bit like Kamala Harris, he can't survive the day.

This is the case in point. Right now I'm questioning Acun's intentions. Every big decision he's made has been questionable at some point. The unfair sacking of McCann, the swindling to appoint his useless friend, the unfair sacking of Rosenior. The reluctance of perhaps refusal to sign a decent striker when it's clear that's our biggest problem. Not an abundance of useless goalkeepers and midfielders. Acun has questions to answer. I'm losing trust in him.

Good post. But I have to disagree with the first bit and say I don’t like his system. <cheers>
