1904 Club Podcast Is Tim Walter on the verge of being SACKED? Hull City boss Tim Walter has been roundly criticized for his post-match comments on Saturday after the Tigers' dismal draw with Portsmouth, when he appeared to question the support of home fans with the team booed and jeered off at full-time. Since then, there's been an outpouring of frustration with calls for owner Acun Ilicali to make a change in the manager's office. City have two games this week starting with a trip to Oxford United on Tuesday night and Sunday's visit of West Brom, and in the latest episode, Baz, Burnsy, Prutts and Fletch are joined by Tigers fan Kathryn Batte to discuss the latest. https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podca...-of-being-sacked/id1310519331?i=1000675607266
Either you, an impersonator or just someone else called Chazz. Half an hour or so ago. Telling folks to lay off Tim.
Me, I think it's too soon to sack him. But an iffy performance tomorrow he might get away with, the same on Saturday he probably won't. I think he's backed himself into corner, alienating the fans, not being particularly press-friendly, being unable or unwilling to change his tactics when it's going wrong and, apparently, not having all the players on-board. Tough call to put all that right but I'd give him the time,
Im pretty emotional after games So ive been walter out And i was a huge rosie fan But now its probably a reality I cant get on board with walter out now He should get west brom

I said to those around me half way through the first half "Oxford will nick this", it was plain to see it just wasn't coming off for us, we could have played for another 90 and still missed those shots. Something's not ticking and I don't know how much time Walt can realistically be allowed.
It’s actually really sad, we was late in the window. It may have been acun, tan or the fact Tim wanted certain players. The sad thing is we go 2 steps back (if he’s sacked). The club feels rudderless and lost which saddens me most, what does Acun do next other than lose interest. His next appointment will tell us how he sees his long term
Listening to Tim on the radio and Mike White is sticking the knife in and I can't say I blame him after Tim's antics on Saturday. Walter from the get go hasn't played his cards right, pissed off the media, the fans and seemingly the players. If he goes, he only has himself to blame. I still think we're ****ed either way, got to find a new manager and 2 coaches with a below par, un-balanced squad. Going to be tough times ahead by my reckoning
I didn't really understand why he wasn't gone after the weekend. It turned nasty but after his comments it was always going to. I don't like to see our own supporters signing for the gaffer's head. Acun is massively to blame too but it's felt for a while like he's nearing the end of his ownership. A 'safe' appointment would be the most logical.
