In 1997 I was 9, I got an N64 with Goldeneye and I played it incessantly until my eyes bled and I could hear the music in my sleep. That was a very good year.

Ah don't be obtuse, there's one reality and one version of events, not the waffle that Trump and his cohorts invent to make him sound less of a twat.

They are always when you were young. Personally 1966 with City winning Div. 3 and walking home with the girlfriend of the time totally pissed after watching Spencer Davis Group, Stevie Winwood is still one of my favourites, on the night england won the World Cup I thought this as good as it gets.
The 1960s was a time of optimism. Everyone, well, young ones, thought life was great and would only get better. We were of course wrong but it was a great feeling whilst it lasted.,By the 90s the feeling was life is crap, everything is wrong. Or so it seemed.

My eldest lad was never a big gamer, much preferred being out and playing football, but Goldeneye was the one game he really got into. Youngest one preferred Zelda games, something I concurred with. Mario 64 was a great game which would probably stand up today with brushed up graphics. Goldeneye will look really bad blown up on today’s large 4kscreens but didn’t look as bad on the smaller CRT TVs of the time.

Does anyone find it disturbing that Elon Musk is running Trumps campaign while being the richest man in the world and owner one of the biggest news platforms?

Musk isn't running the campaign, he's running the biggest part of the GOTV (Get Out The Vote) campaign, what we would call the canvassing. If it's any consolation, he's running it very badly and it will be one of the reasons Trump loses if indeed that is what the result is. Incidentally, for those like me who think Harris is going to win, the voting day turnout is showing huge increases particularly among young people. Puerto Ricans in Pennsylvania also voting in previously unknown numbers, can't think why.

The 60s was a time when Hull City fans defaced the statue of Boudica on Westminster Bridge, London with spray paint, not piss. Something I'm sure Cityzen would condemn, but as a 12 year old I was mightily impressed.

    That’s fine too.
I was just suggesting an option for a bigger, more remote country

Have I just heard on the news that Trump wants to abolish abortion? Is there a ghost zero in the date? It must be 224AD surely if that’s a campaign pledge? Crazy.

Wishing all the best to the folks who put money on Harris today. Think you are going to be rewarded. I see Harris winning with 300 plus electoral votes

Cheating. Harris is a Babylonian whore without a brain. Anybody voting for her is clearly equally as dumb.

It isn't. His policy is for that to be a decision for each state based on the local wishes.
