It's the sort of scary series where Mrs. K. probably wants to cuddle whilst watching it . . . . Mrs. A always did :bandit:

Well it was great to watch Our Farm Next Door and see the roofer was a sunderland fan, wearing a sunderland afc beanie hat.

Just started watching The boy that never was. Starts off as the usual missing person series but at about episode 3 starts to take an unusual turn. Finding it quite good after trying several new series and giving up after half way through the first episode.

I've seen the first series, bit like a western themed little brother of Twin Peaks. Mainly meaning that it's weird. I liked it but only worth a go if you've got tolerance for stuff that's a bit wacky.

If anyone likes thrillers, I'm watching 2 series at once at the minute - Paris has fallen on Prime and Day of the Jackal on Sky Atlantic. Think both are pretty good

Finding Mr Mercedes S2 tough going. First series was very high level and generally flawless, second has introduced totally implausible supernatural elements as well as a raft of other minor details and events that make no sense.

I believe S3 is a return to form but it's going to be a slog getting through this one, it's getting on my wick.

    Right, here we go.
In the second series Royal ( ranch owner ) is 150 years old and his granddaughter Ami (9)has been taken by his daughter in law, but his granddaughter Ami still lives with him at the moment but she’s 25ish.
His son Perry (30ish)lives with him but he hasn’t been born yet.
Ami gets nearly trampled to death when a 5000 strong herd of buffalo appeared from a hole in the ground and ran over her.
Joy the acting sheriff is living on a Indian reservation a 100 years ago and wonders why she can’t get her mobile phone to work but luckily she has just turned up in our time from a hole in the ground.
Royal in the meantime went down the hole and appeared on his ranch a few years in the future and it’s covered in industrial buildings, so someone shot him so he dived back down the hole again and is back on his ranch in the present. Or is it.
I can’t understand why my missus can’t follow it <doh>
How are you doing Natcho mate<laugh><laugh>

In my case it depends on if I've had whiskey or not and if so how much, cross the line and I can't remember a damn thing about what I've seen.

Couldn't agree more, why did they not introduce lady Stark back after her throat was cut and brought back to life? As well as lots of others. And Ed Sheeran never apeared in the books, WTF?
