Off Topic US General Election

On the other side of the coin what Harris proposes is not definitely going to improve things economically either. As they saying goes, when America sneezes the world catches a cold. With major problems in China as well on the economic front there could be rocky times ahead.

 

The fallout might be just as chaotic.

 

My friend said this to me this morning, but I just don’t think it’ll be anything like as bad this time if he loses.

There just doesn’t seem to be the energy for Trump anymore outside of his base and even they seem to have dropped off a little.

I mean if they come out and say “they rigged it again”, then aren’t they just saying “the Democrats outsmarted us twice”? Not exactly the proudest moment and I don’t think the same lie twice is going to have much impact.

I don’t doubt that Elon will try some kind of shenanigans because he’s desperate to get more power, but I’m not sure people will buy it.

 

The more numerous and more violent riots and fallouts tend to be when the Dems don't get their own way.

And yet the largest and worst one, the one that will go down in history as one of the darkest moments in US history featured zero democrats and a lot of angry MAGA supporters being stochastically directed by a sitting US president.

I don’t recall that happening when George Floyd died.

 

All of that is very debatable to say the least, with plenty of evidence to contradict it. .

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I have zero intention of arguing about it.

Plenty of evidence to contradict what? They disrupted the transfer of power, something that’s never happened in US history because their president told them to “fight like hell” or they won’t have a country anymore.

I would absolutely love to see evidence to the contrary because it’s been four years and I’ve not heard anything credible that shows a different set of events.
