True, however it's possible he wasn't aware, given he was a teen at the time. Even so, when it arrived looking like chopped fish, you'd have hoped it would have sparked a connection somewhere
It must be the only possible explanation as Ecuadorian ceviche is a very popular dish well know for including shrimp as the main ingredient. Although it would be difficult to avoid it all that time. If I knew I had an allergy that affected my breathing I would be bringing it up before ordering anything as you never know. For example, many restaurants deep-fry chips in peanut oil, but they don’t always put it on the menu.
I understand that logic, but given the teams we were up against and how much we needed momentum (and points), I’m not sure we were ever in a position to not play our best players. I you’re right though and that’s why Simmons has been favoured in recent weeks.
Maybe Walter just thinks Zambrano is **** and prefers other midfielders. Given the circus he’s orchestrating on the pitch this is the most likely reason for the lack of game time for me.
I know he has to be diplomatic to an extent, but Walter has actually said this in quite a bit of detail. He was asked prior to Saturday's game what Simons had done to nail down the place, and he explained that Simons had started to understand the role (which does seem to be the most complicated/unintuitive role in Walter's system), including staying out of the buildup play but arriving late onto balls in the box to shoot.
Its a **** system It wont catch on And all this time practicing for a **** system will be a waste of time when walters gone
Can already hear in my head how this will play out in the post-match interview tonight. Walter will be asked to confirm that the ban made Zambrano unavailable for tonight's game since it's not been confirmed anywhere else, but he'll interrupt as soon as the interviewer mentions Zambrano, having clearly assumed that the question is going to be asking for details of the situation and it'll probably get heated. If we've lost the game then he'll be an extra 50% more awkward.
He often does that answering before the whole question thing, not good in your first language let alone a foreign one.
Waiting until the questioner has finished speaking gives you more time to think. Replying with platitudes like "I'm glad you asked me that" or "that's a really good question" gives you even more time, which is why politicians use it. Walter, take note.
16 months apparently https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spo...news/hull-citys-oscar-zambrano-doping-9690327
We wouldn’t have got Zambrano in the first place if it wasn’t for this hanging over him. Brighton, Luton (when in the Premier League) & Man Utd we’re considering making a move for him. We were able to get him due to this doubt. Unlikely we just send him back now we’ve had a good look at him and see that he could be a top Championship player. A nice cut price deal should do it.
Urm, dunno why we are hung up on this. Walter ball doesn’t really use midfielders, not in possession anyway. They occasionally pick up the ball by mistake sometimes.
Walter will be gone So a proper manager will love zambrano Hes def worth buying, will be cheap Im sure he will get the ban reduced to 9 mo nths or so
That puts him out until March 2026. He’d have to get his fitness back up after that. Realistically, that means he misses this season and next.
If that’s the case. I think you’re right if sign him on the cheap. Won’t we have an issue with the work permit if he doesn’t play?
