Explain to me how I can talk down Argyle's away form ?

    Played 7.....Won 0.....Drawn 1......Lost 6.....Goals for 1.....Goals against 16.....Points won 1.

Take your green tints off for a moment and look at the facts....nothing but embarrassing.

All you ever do is talk negatively no matter what. If you call that any kind of support then god help if you ever stopped being a so called supporter. If you are that disallusioned with all things green then go support Bromley which is your local team.

So to repeat the challenge. Go on Plymborn tell us how crap we are this time. You might as well do it now because no matter what you will talk down anything even a win.

That's just a question without a question mark. You are usually much more condemning than that. 4 out of ten and could do better. Bit like us greens then. Just for the record as well I'm not trying to be green tinted. I just don't slag off the team at every opportunity even if it is the norm on pasoti. I don't call that support of any kind.

How negative are Argyle away from home....is that how Rooney wants them to play.....leaving some of your first choice players out when you expect to get a tonking.....maybe some of Leeds rivals have a case for us to answer not picking our strongest available players....is that the system for the rest of the away season....doesn't look very promising does it ?

Or is that just because we're playing Portsmouth next game....turned into a bit of a pressure game hasn't it.

Well playing at Elland Road is not exactly a typical away match is it?

FFS Plymthey still have players there that were with them in the EPL. They have parachute payments . They haven’t been out of the top few all season. They are getting 35,000 notoriously nasty fans in for each game.

Do you think other teams go there and say “hey-no, just another game, let’s have some fun, we’ll have a go at these and just see what happens?”

    Of course they don’t.

For Crissake, we get teams coming to Home Park and starting with10 men behind the ball never mind going to Leeds.

There is a thread on Pasoti currently that is basically saying the team need us now more than ever. I suggest you go back to that site and use that thread to do what you constantly do here and slag them off. You usually copy the down stuff from there anyway. I don't see you using that forum to converse with "like minded folk" instead you try to bring this one down to your level of support.

We went to Leeds and were negative. Not much more negative than many have been at Home Park. We had 7 (seven) pretty much first team players out against a team of premiership players. They are flying at the moment and for me look like almost nailed on to return to the top division. So what should we do? Throw caution to the wind and just shout charge at kick off? We then get tanked 6 - 0 or more and Rooney gets a kicking from the moron posters who don't seem to get it. But hey-ho we had a couple of shots at their end so that would be alright would it. I would so hate to be in your corner in a fight because I just know you would swap sides if the going got tough.

Of course, the travelling fans are the beating heart of the club but mass support from the fans is one of the reasons we do better at home. Rooney mentioned that he remembered coming to Home Park with Birmingham and what a hostile environment it was. It may not be the biggest ground but it's completely full at the moment and up until that first half against Preston, it's been very loud.

Personally, I'd like to think we support Argyle rather than being hostile but I guess it sounds pretty the same from the middle of the pitch.

Anyway back to the match. Just read that the Ref for this one has issued 46 yellows and 5 reds in 9 matches this season. Obviously likes writing reports. Good job Cissoko isn't playing then.

It was absolute pants to watch but all I can say to those who were slagging off everything Argyle is Rooney was vindicated with his give up the Leeds match and take 3 points from this one. Whose the tactical boy now then.

I went for a pint after at the usual watering hole. When I walked in I could not stop myself from saying "how the feck did we win that". I guess though it is the standard reply to the question having considered it slowly since. Portsmouth were even more rubish than we were and couldn't finish a move to save their lives. We scored one. It was enough for 3 points and if every match was like that for the rest of the season then we would be in the playoffs at least. That isn't a serious suggestion by the way. I am relieved but not shocked.
