Bernie Collins made a good point in the commentary that these red flags are a self fulfilling prophecy. 1. Everyone stays out on inters because they're expecting a red flag. 2. Someone crashes because they aquaplane on the inters in full wet conditions. 3. Red Flag 4. Everyone else who gambled on staying out benefits. A safety feature paradoxically causes crashes.
Red Flags allowing tyre changes is an iffy one. We have seen it many times and it's something that is all about luck and I'm not sure luck should really be part of F1.
To be fair, luck is a massive part of F1 at times. Sometimes it works for you, sometimes it doesn't. Just gotta take it on the chin.
It's annoying that little weasel gets to benefit from it. He drives people off the track continuously and cries like a baby when someone dares to not let him past. The sooner he quits the better.
Distinctly possible that not only will Norris not catch Max, but actually end up further back than he was when McLaren became the fastest car.
