Yup, but he’s so much better than anyone else in that position. Letting manning/taylor and Armstrong/silemana/fraser get the ball out wide is pointless.
Goal was definitely the on field decision. Flag never went up. The atmosphere was very odd after the "goal" though. The Everton fans were very half hearted with their celebrations and there was an air of everyone expecting it to be disallowed.
I think the fans who turn up for every game (or those they can get to) earned and deserved that. Was in that number for many seasons…still care, but no longer have to suffer the depressing journey back to the Island with the rest of the walking dead. COYR
I get that but I would sooner see him running the ball at a CB in a dangerous situation than a FB out wide, where he invariably plays the ball into the middle, outside the box to someone who lacks his qualities and rarely troubles the CBs.
I think the shot where Ramsdale tipped it on to the roof of the net would also have been chalked off if it had gone in. The ball goes through after a player in front of the keeper ducks out of the way - but he is clearly offside.
Yeah Ramsdale was shouting about the offside when he stood up from the save. He definitely saw it late! Edit: What would then have happened if they had scored from the resultant corner?
Unfortunately, because of the 'winnable' games that we have already ****ed up, and with the games we have coming up after Wolves. A draw isn't really good enough if we have designs on staying up.
I don't think a draw would be a disaster TBH. We've obviously got a tough run coming up after the international break but we did ok at Arsenal and City. We're not adrift so a point on Saturday would be OK for me.
