Max fans will be raging, yesterday they waited to put the VSC out until Piastri and Lando had switched around, and today they waited for Lando and Piastri to finish their laps before they put the red out. However, in both cases the car involved in the incident were still moving, but I wouldn;t be surprised after what happened in '21 that LM may be calling some of the shots.
Lerclerc pushed Max in 11th at pretty much the same time as the yellows came out. No way the red was ever getting thrown quickly enough to save Max. Both McLarens were already safe. At worst it's cost Max one spot since he ended up 12th. There may be a case for criticising the stewards, but it's a distraction tactic from Red Bull. They messed up not getting the lap in early.
Senna was / is my hero . However , I will be the first to admit he stepped over the line . I wouldn’t say he was any worse than anyone else though . I remember Prost saying “ The problem with Ayrton is he doesn’t think he can be die “ ( something like that ) . Maybe He did believe that .
It would be a pit lane start regardless for Albon even if they do swap or somehow fix the car. Bigger question is probably why Albon seems to total the car every other weekend.
Good question, I suspect he is trying too hard. A bit like stating the obvious I know, but he is trying to prove himself.
Looks like Norris broke the rules, but since everyone else followed, you'd surely need the penalise the whole field? I don't think it ever showed green, even when the second group started moving.
Max is going to win this. Piastri offers no defence whatsoever. Very in line with how remarkably unhelpful he's been for Norris's challenge.
Max will canter this and win the WDC like a champ - can’t knock his ability or speed. He is having his Hamilton 2021 here isn’t he.
