When though? We have spurs and utd next...that's probably another 2 defeats, so will be 1/3 of the season gone without a win

Leicester are far and away the poorest side we’ve played so far. I was pretty shocked at how awful they were up until the red card.

I think VAR is a good thing I really think they should use it for all teams and not just the ‘big’ clubs.

Just got home and feel really deflated. Other than the 1st 15 minutes, we completely dominated. Special mention for Johnson and Muric who were both very good despite recent criticism. I am behind the goal where the incident took place in the 2nd half - thought it was a penalty at the time. Having seen the replay, I’ve changed my mind -it was a blatant penalty, no attempt to play the ball and just barges Chaplin over. Every marginal var call has gone against us this season but this 1 for me was not marginal, it was as clear as they come. Can’t imagine how the players are feeling considering how much they put into the game, think KMC and Morsy have their work cut out to pick them up after this

Kieran fuming and lets rip at the ref in the EADT. Rightly so. He praises the overall performance and sticks up for his players.

Unlucky not to get all three points there. A game we mostly dominated. Can’t really think of any poor individual performances either. Phillip’ second yellow looked harsh, but it was always an uphill battle to hold on with ten men.

As Royston mentioned, Johnson had a good game. Thought O’Shea and Burgess were great, really solid. Midfielders played well. Thought Burns was really poor for their goal, brushed off the ball far too easily.

Massive credit to Muric, Johnson, O’Shea. All three of them really stepped up. I thought Johnson in particular was immense. So many wonderful performances. I have to say that may have been the best display we’ve seen from Town in 20 years and I know there is still better to come.

Leicester players arguing and throwing their toys out of the pram - Wolves fans on their manager’s back. Portman Road was rocking. I think the mentality we have as a club is what is going to ultimately see us grow and keep us in the division.

You are right Hampy, our Club spirit, mentality, trust might see us survive. I didn't watch the MOTD, but just wonder if there is an apology from the Ref Association to KM for that blatant penalty. Too many have gone against little old Ipswich, the 'small' Club from sleepy Suffolk. I wont entertain the conspiracy theories but it does get one thinking.

Tho we were all deflated by the end result, there were many positives in very good performances all over the park. Muric & Johnson showed us why KM knows his players.

On to the next. White Hart Lane, followed by another flippin International Break.

Agree with all that's been said above, also thought Hutchinson looked far better on the right and what a wonderstrike from Leif!
Despite the lack of a win we're putting in some good, enjoyable performances and the biggest downside of the Premier League is the refereeing and way they lean on VAR to avoid taking decisions.

Really good performances but absolutely gutting in the end, I don't think I've ever left a games watching Town with such a huge sense of injustice.

I thought Muric was far more assured although I felt he played it safe today, he looked assured but there was also a back to basics feel in his distribution, there were a few times at crosses he couldve come off his line and got the ball and also he couldve invited the press a little more on the ball but I'm just being a little over critical, as much rather see a performance like this than others we have witnessed.

I thought this was the best we've seen from Johnson and O'Shea in a town shirt their performances showed why we signed them. I think Johnson showed what we've been missing from a RB pretty much since McKenna has been here, someone who has a real good balance of being solid defensively but still supporting the attack when he could. Unfortunately for O'Shea I would've given him 10/10 for his performance but he missed a couple of really good chances in the opposition box and when we went down to 10 men got caught out a couple of times including being a little flat footed for the equaliser.

Burgess I don't think has looked out of place at this level which is remarkable considering where he's come from although some of his passes were a little wayward yesterday.

Davis I thought played well often more as an orthodox LB rather than a wing back for the majority of the game until the sending off when he got beaten far too easily however I think he was carrying a knock which strangely contributed to our downfall as I think Phillips was about to be subbed until Davis got a knock.

I thought Hutchinson was better on the right but still lacking the stardust he was showing at the end of last season, still lacking a final quality shot or cross or running into trouble when other options are available but this was certainly a performance to build on for him.

I thought Morsy was outstanding and the dominate midfield player, at 33 what this guy is doing is incredible. Couldve done a little better for the equaliser but probably 7 times out of 10 he would have won the foul in that situation.

I think maybe I'm being a little harsh on Phillips by what I'm about to say but it's based on his reputation as a player paid 140k a week and an England international he certainly doesn't look anywhere near that at the moment, in moments he does some good things and I think he's gradually improving but still not being consistent enough in matches to play a key role in the centre for me, he's getting caught out too many times still and not taking enough responsibility on the ball. If you didn't know the players and were told one of our midfielders is a 33 year old who's spent the majority of his career in league 1 and the other was a 32 capped England International £40 million 140k a week player people would pick the wrong player every time.

I thought Chaplin had a great game, really starting to make this no.10 his own again, his awareness of where others are is second to none and I could see him starting to build a relationship with Delap.

Szmodics was superb off the ball and in the press however he found himself out wide on the left a couple of times and its really not his game. Last week with Hirst in the team I felt he was able to get into the spaces he's best in but not so much this week.

Delap was superb on the ball but he's no where near as good as Hirst off the ball which helps us in the press and gives far more options to the other players around him. I get the feeling Delap would get far more goals than Hirst but if Hirst plays those around him would get more goals. In an unfortunate twist of fate there's no one better I feel we could've brought on than Delap when going down to 10 men, as when he gets the ball he can carry us up the pitch and produce something out of nothing, Hirst needs players around him.

Good performances and some promising signs with the new players starting to integrate and show a better level of understanding but there's still some who need to get up to speed quicker if we've got a chance of staying in this division.

Depressing. Really feels like every game is an uphill battle just to get on a level playing field, only for the goalposts to be moved again.

I'd love to hear the explanation for why it wasn't a penalty. But it does no good to dwell. Tottenham and United will expect to beat us, which may conversely make our lives easier... Maybe

Having just watched the replay - couldn’t bring myself to yesterday, I was that p***ed off - Chaplin penalty incident is stonewall. My view from upper Cobbold was pretty good, but video replays really do show it was a blatant penalty. Thought Phillips unlucky to get a second yellow too, clearly withdraws his foot before contact. Why on earth VAR didn’t get involved is beyond me. I don’t buy into the conspiracy theories doing the rounds online, but I do think most referees subconsciously favour bigger teams as the outrage and focus isn’t as high as if they missed an incident for the bigger teams. The level of officiating has really been poor in this country for a while.

A shame, because we were in control of that game at 11 men and most likely would’ve won had we kept 11 players on the pitch. I’m always reluctant to criticise referees or point to something like a missed penalty as crucial, because we had other opportunities to win. But it makes such a difference for a club like us at this level.

Doubt we’ll win against either Spurs or Man United, but you never know. I don’t think we’ve been that bad this season, really. Despite not winning a game, we’ve been in most of them and arguably deserved to win the three home games we’ve drawn.

For all our struggles, I think the team is coming together nicely and there’s been good link up play. Definitely showing signs we are a bit of luck away from going on a decent run. Next two games will be a massive test, and then Forest away will be a tough one seeing how they’re playing so far.

Leeds fan here. Think you’ve played some good football and would like to see you stay up, think you’ve have a good enough team for it. How’s Phillips getting on? Thought the 2nd yellow was absolute madness especially given what happened before it.

We are getting used to a whole new ballgame with Refs, VAR, and the physicality demands of the Prem.

But we have held our own and could have won at least 2 if Lady Luck was on our side.

We've played really well in some games (most of our home games) but away from home we've struggled. Last season's promotion was achieved through a never-say-die attitude and an ability to score more than the opposition, mostly in games when we've conceded a couple. We've not had that margin for error in this division and the standard of opposition has been a significant step up in quality.

If we do stay up, I think it will be because more established teams like Wolves, Crystal Palace, Everton or West Ham have had a collapse in form. Southampton got their first win of the season, which will give them a confidence boost, whereas we're still looking for ours and have a few tough fixtures coming up. I still think we will get relegated, but I don't believe it will be a 'relegated by March/April' type season.

As for Phillips, second yellow was harsh - he clearly pulls his foot back. Leicester fans would say it was a risky challenge for a player on a booking to make (and his first booking could've been a red). As for Phillips' form, it's been a mixed bag. I'd argue he's been disappointing - in that he's by far the highest earner in the squad and has the most Premier League experience. I want to see him play with a bit more composure and authority. In fairness to him, he has been playing in front of one of the worst defences in the league. Ultimately, Phillips started well, had a run of four odd games where he played really poorly and made numerous mistakes, but has improved the last couple of matches.
