**** that. It’s getting killed. Next step is copper wire. Forgot to order that. Then hopefully get it dug out over the winter so I can plant something nice in its place.

How far down do the roots go ? Can't you just dig it out and cut the main feeder roots ?

Last time I tried they were really deep. Thought if it’s at least dead I’d have a better chance of digging it out.where the main stem is, branches sprout out the ground within about 50cm away at random. It’s just a sprawling mess.

In one of my usual pre-match eateries. Not posh but not the sort of place kids should run riot either. Table next to me have four kids under 5/6 which is a tough situation I appreciate but the eldest one has an iPad on full blast with some YouTube nonsense. Deport.

Guitar going well compared to other times I've tried. Just been playing some simple chords and switching between them. A E G.

Fingers are numb and sore but just got to pick it up every day until that stops.

I’ve just egged my neighbours house. E scooters are a great escape. **** 4 doors up letting off fireworks. I have returned fire with a pack of eggs then made haste on the scooter.

Had fireworks going off all night and at times it's felt like i'm living in southern suburbs of Beirut the only upside is the dog is pretty deaf these days so is pretty unruffled by it all

Watching The Overlap on Sky Showcase.

They're in Turin and Chiellini joins them and takes the four out for a meal.

And you realise, that not even that far back, football had actual legends instead of the idiots everyone fawns over now.

    Proper player.

Watched that earlier in the week, it's a good show.
Alan Hansen was my fave Liverpool player despite all time attacking talent and I also loved the Italian defenders, Nesta, Maldini and Chiellini.

The way he pulled Saka back in the Euros was brilliant, experience and reading the moment shown right there. It might seem a moment of petulance after being done by the winger but right there and then he stopped any momentum and killed any hope, filled the opposition with frustration and anger. Even when getting skinned by the lad he turned it into great defending.
