was just thinking this Sarr fella is exactly the kind of useless ****e we’d have signed in our relegation season
Yeah as the league goes on its like a mini league from 15th to 20th put a couple of wins together and you're out of it.
Delighted for Ipswich and Southampton personally. Sick of hearing championship teams and coaches arent up to the top level. They are adjusting to the level and may yet both survive. One thought from me, as a huge Russell Martin fan, well done lad. I watched them against Man City last time and thought good on him, his style of footy meant they were in the game. The so called expert pundits on tv go on about changing his style. They think it is like wandering in on a Monday and saying right lads, we are going to launch it and feed off the second balls. When you have built a squad for the opposite of that is daft to expect them to do it. Some of the best coaches around will say a plan b is a last resort. The best alternative to plan a is to makr plan a better. I think there clear signs both are doing this. I hope they both stay up. Tough ask. But I would prefer to watch them than Everton for sure, and Palace might find life tough this year under their coach.
I get that he has a philosophy and sticks with it but when you've 4 points from.10 games me personally would think yeah this isn't working..
watched the oxford/swansea game earlier, don't think either team played well enough to look like they wanted to win, oxford only really began to look interested after they went a goal down. i sort of like oxford right now, they have come up and i was expecting a lot of 'third division' tactics in there but they do try to play and i think that will be thier downfall...swansea fell over every time they got a slight touch and the ref gave them all, yet oxford tried to keep playing when they were getting pushed and kicked, they are going to have to rethink that part of the game, especially against teams using those tactics. anyway, watched the vid smug posted above and i am struggling to see what the officials bring to a game now...all we ever ask for a sfans is to see consistency, we all ge tannoyed when our team 'suffers' but even watching games as a neutral you see strange decisions.
Just watching MOTD, really nice side Bournemouth have there. Brilliant gaffer as well who really hasn’t had the credit he deserves, yet. Was a real coup when they got him as he is rated in Spain. I remember they had a horrific start but they’d had the wildest fixture list imaginable last season then they go on and finish 12th, but they look a really good side this year. People talking about Martin sticking to his plan and ‘does it cost him’, Iraola goes the other way and he is happy to change it as per opposition. He is doing a brilliant job and they are a blueprint club for staying up. Even the relegation they had was never happening without an absolutely insane injury list. Credit to them. Sat 8th having beat Arsenal and City.
SPURS V VILLA... 1 shot on target in the first half, honestly this shows how bad the premier league is, 'top european teams' my @rse.
Paul Thirlwell assistant manager for them. I have a gargle or two now and then with his dad so yes I would like Harrogate to win. Unfortunately cannot see it.
Really like this Spurs side and really like Ange. They lose too many games they for silly reasons to actually win anything but it's great to watch. Sarr is a great player in midfield.
