Does he keep his place. yes from me. Patto is a good shot stopper but put the ball at his feet he has me worried most of the time.
He keeps his place because we played well and won, the latter part I disagree with, I think Patto will prove to be better with his feet than Moore is, time will likely show this. Careful what you wish for.
If he played a blinder maybe but he had very little to do in terms of shot stopping, almost nothing, and it was an easy game for distribution with Oxford standing off and not pressing at all. Patterson back in for me but good to know we've got a competent stand in.
Patterson is first choice and will rightly come back in when fit. Moore didn’t have anything to do yesterday.
I wanted him to play some games because he sat with me, on the train, after the Portsmouth game. Really nice lad, wore the full SAFC training kit and couldn’t praise Patterson enough.
Said he’s really keen to learn and doesn’t think he’s anywhere near his potential. Also trains harder than he’s seen any other keeper train which has improved Moore’s own fitness and upper body strength. I noticed Patterson wore a tight fitting short-sleeved shirt at Luton … … I thought he was sending them a subliminal message.
Thought it was a really good signing in the summer and I've been impressed with him in Pattersons absence. Looks like a real calming presence at the back and he's currently dealing with everything coming his way.
