Kamara’s ****. The owner, manager and players are all a waste of time. The whole club is an absolute circus.
That's probably fair but they've looked ok lately and we keep saying we need to let the midfield settle without rotation. But third game in a week I'd tend to agree.
Kamara has been poor, I've said it too, but at least play him on the right in his preferred position before writing him off. But yes, against the club he should know better than most to not do much and to look so afraid to take them on is either him just not being up for it or the manager telling him to be cautious.
The club puts out a vague statement about poor fan behaviour and the first home game after the atmosphere is **** If I wasn’t paying £40 a month, there’s a few things I’d rather spend my time doing more than watching City play right now, like editing Wikipedia entries or watching paint dry.
Kamara has looked the least "lively" of our wingers, but I think his crossing is probably the best we have.
Well, if he has lost the dressing room...then he is toast. Interesting public comments by Acun about Den Haag a few days ago (surprising to make them public!) saying he should have been removed at MU weeks ago. Well now, this type of decision is now visiting himself - it will be interesting to see whether his mouth and actions will be in tune. He fired McCann for Shota; Rosenior for Walter, always stating that it was for the best for the club. Over to you Acun.
I haven't heard it but by your post it sounds like a man under the most severe pressure, ready to implode.I take no perverted sense of pleasure from that...Maybe he should have never been put in the position in the first place? Acun put him in this position,'if' he sacks him now,he's got a large amount of egg on his chin,is he prepared to roll the dice for the 5th time? 'If' he does get rid of him now,who replaces him? Who are these coaches with Championship experience? A huge amount of credit must go to the away team today(and their support),they fought like F**k and restricted us to panic passing. They outfought us in midfield,we lack that,we need to toughen up.Of course the coach must take some blame for our play but surely the players need to look at themselves in the mirror too, they're weak!!
Wonder if people will 'support the club' by backing the manager having a pop at the fans, or support the club by defending the fans.
Im not gleeful about this situation with walter personally Hes def not the right man for the job But i dont trust our ownership to find the right one I dont think we will go anywhere anytime soon Theres no direction anywhere
Acun might be thinking he's had enough. Spent a fortune on 4 managers and umpteen players, his mate Tan ripped him off (allegedly), fans unhappy, can't score goals and we're slipping down the table. I know what I might be thinking!
I'm not gleeful because I wish it had worked because it'd mean City are doing well. But I'll be happy if we move quickly now and rectify things.
The difference between our performances this season and our poor ones last is that under Rosenior we largely struggled to break down a rigid defence. Even with the talent we had available if a team came to us organised we struggled a bit, then usually lost our way as we tried harder and harder to create some magic. We very rarely saw any sort of performance like we’ve just done. Portsmouth were all over us in the second half and we could barely get out of our half. The midfield was non-existent and it ended up looking like chaos. That to me is much more worrying as it’s one thing getting an attack together - another thing entirely organising a team and changing how you are playing because you are being overrun. It smacks of chaos and a squad and manager who don’t have a clue - rather than struggling to find the formula to score more.
Prob the best post on the situation Sums it up very well And how many times this season have we just swapped the midfield every game? Theres no method to the madness
