The only good things about that half is that they are as bad as us but we at least showed some intent to score in the last 5 minutes or so
I know this has been going on for a few years now, but I still can’t believe how easily we give the ball sway in our own half, with absolutely zero pressure from the opposition.
Lack of urgency is driving me insane. What's the point of ramsdale quick releasing the ball only for the receiver to stop dead with it.
If we can get one goal maybe we can build some confidence as there isn't much at the moment so players are playing cautiously. Aside from Downes lovely forward pass to Archer he has automatically gone backwards every time. Bring Dibbling on at about 1 hour mark and hope he can unlock Everton.
The turn and stop, then pass backward is nuts. I’d be asking for a refund if I went to a game. I haven’t been this season, and not sure I will if we continue to play like this.
I’m actually surprised at how open their midfield has been for the ball through or for someone to run with the ball. I thought they would be tighter than that.
Yeah, I mean there’s a win here for us if we can work it out. I fear Dyche is more likely to work it out though…
Is this the longest we have gone without conceding a goal in the premier league this season? City scored after 5 minutes, so a tiny milestone moment?
Agree with the above. So pedestrian. What is our strategy for attacking? Arma can’t cross, pass or dribble. We have nothing the other side. Archer looks ok, but every time he gets it he’s on his own 50 yards from goal with no one to pass too
